Story
Ghost is a 6 year old Yorkie Poo who is house trained, playful and super friendly. He loves children, long walks and playing fetch. Ghost can be energetic and snuggly depending on his mood. He understands basic commands and then some. He loves to chase birds, rabbits and squirrels so being on a leash or fenced area is best. If your toddler likes to throw food, he’ll catch it. But if you tell him to “go lay down”, he’ll back off but will definitely watch. Ghost is not around too many other animals but with time and patience, it could work. He’s never bit anyone but does not like his feet touched too much. Up to date with shots and does well at groomers. He’d come with two beds, toys and 2 months of food, plus treats and grooming supplies. Paperwork from the breeder is available.

Meet PQ, an adult (approx. 6 years old) Yorkie!  PQ is currently in TN and is expected to arrive in CT on 2/21. We are accepting applications for PQ now!  PQ is crate/house trained and gets along with small dogs. PQ has not been cat tested.  Apply to meet this special pup today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save.
