Story
Meet Luke 🐾 Luke is a tiny 5.5-pound senior sweetheart who is about 10 years old and looking for a calm, understanding home to spend his golden years. He may be small, but he has a big personality and bonds deeply with the adults he trusts. Luke does best in a quiet, adult-only home. He is not comfortable around young children and can be reactive to other dogs, so he would thrive as an only dog. That said, with very slow and careful introductions, he has gotten along with a few other calm dogs in the past. As an older pup, Luke has a few special considerations. He sometimes has indoor potty accidents and is starting to lose some of his vision, which can make him a bit fearful in unfamiliar situations. Handling-sensitive tasks—especially toenail trims—are stressful for him, and he does best with patience and gentleness. Despite his fears, Luke is a loving companion who enjoys the company of adults and appreciates a predictable routine. He is best suited for someone experienced with small or senior dogs who can offer a peaceful environment, understanding, and lots of reassurance. Luke is looking for a soft place to land—a home that will see past his challenges and cherish him for the loyal, affectionate little dog he is. 💙 If you would like to learn more about Luke, please reach out to Shannon from Hannah Pet Hospital by calling 971-606-4006

I got her from a breeder when she was 8 weeks old had her since she was a puppy. Unfortunately I work long hours don’t have a lot of time for her I want her to go to a good family that does, since it is only me it’s hard. She’s super friendly, will bark at strangers when walking but always nice when she smells them. Super playful & rlly good with other dogs. She is turning 2 in march 2026

Story
Me me me me meeeeeee!!!!!! What? Oh. My foster mom says that is NOT how to spell my name. It is spelled “MiMi" which sounds the same but who cares how it is spelled. I am a vintage model of a little poodle and I was a much loved member of the family at one time. Not to say that I am spoiled or anything but I know what I want when I want it! So it really is all about me! I adore being around my people and love being held. I will make little whimpering noises if you are there and I think I haven’t had enough lap time and look at you with my puppy dog eyes so that you feel guilty and pick me up where I want to be. I am a healthy 14 year old poodle who is scheduled for spay and teeth cleaning on Jan. 5th and then will be able to go to my new home after that. I use a potty pad when I am sleeping on the floor, but my foster mom puts a diaper on me when I sleep on your bed because I am not too keen about jumping off the bed. So when I have to potty, if I am on the bed, sometimes I will potty the bed. But the diaper takes care of that. I am a whopping 10 pounds and do walk pretty well of a leash as long as you don’t walk too fast. I am housebroken if you take me out on a schedule. Adoption fee in Texas is $200 Out of State fee with transport and fuel surcharge is $450.

Story
Elliana They gave me a fancy name at last! Can you believe it? I have been used as a breeder dog for years and years and then dumped at the local pound with a mammary gland tumor that you could play tennis with!! Who does that!!! At least that is what my foster mom thinks my life has been like. I sat there in a cage at animal control for 4 weeks before anyone would think about pulling me out of there but my foster mom said that she had to take me home so that I would have a chance to be a beloved pet before I die. Not that I am planning to do that anytime soon, but you never know. Anyhow, I went to the vet right away and had that big nasty thing taken off my stomach and the vets knew right away what it was and what it was from. They took out the baby making bits as well, so I won’t have to go through having my babies and then losing them right away to being just a baby and money making factory for somebody. Sheesh….get a job!! I have some issues, I won’t lie, but I am starting to kind of get used to being out of a cage, where I learned to circle around and around as there wasn’t a lot of space in those things. I can walk in a straight line and the more I get time outside, the more I am enjoying the fresh air and smells in the grass. I will revert to circles when I am nervous but Rome wasn’t built in a day and I have only had freedom for a couple of months now. I don’t have many teeth, as the ones I did have were rotted and broken from trying to eat the bars I suppose. I startle easily from the lack of being held and loved in my former life, and will try to “gum” you if I pick me up too quickly. But speaking to me and touching me before you pick me up will let me know you are there and going to be gentle with me. I am still getting used to the being held part, and sometimes can’t tolerate it very long, but I am learning and going slow is really helpful to me. I am learning what good food tastes like, and what a soft bed feels like, and while I have pretty limited vision to see things, I can follow my nose and it helps me to find everything I need to get around. Foster mom leaves me a puppy pad to potty on in the house if I have to go at night, and I am pretty good at using it. It took a while to figure out that is what it was for, but also, if I potty outside after meals, I am good if I keep to a schedule. So that is my story. If you are interested in giving a blind old lady a soft landing for the rest of my life, let me know. Local adoption in Texas only please.
