Story
Meet Luke 🐾 Luke is a tiny 5.5-pound senior sweetheart who is about 10 years old and looking for a calm, understanding home to spend his golden years. He may be small, but he has a big personality and bonds deeply with the adults he trusts. Luke does best in a quiet, adult-only home. He is not comfortable around young children and can be reactive to other dogs, so he would thrive as an only dog. That said, with very slow and careful introductions, he has gotten along with a few other calm dogs in the past. As an older pup, Luke has a few special considerations. He sometimes has indoor potty accidents and is starting to lose some of his vision, which can make him a bit fearful in unfamiliar situations. Handling-sensitive tasks—especially toenail trims—are stressful for him, and he does best with patience and gentleness. Despite his fears, Luke is a loving companion who enjoys the company of adults and appreciates a predictable routine. He is best suited for someone experienced with small or senior dogs who can offer a peaceful environment, understanding, and lots of reassurance. Luke is looking for a soft place to land—a home that will see past his challenges and cherish him for the loyal, affectionate little dog he is. 💙 If you would like to learn more about Luke, please reach out to Shannon from Hannah Pet Hospital by calling 971-606-4006

Story
**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to OR for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Meet Thumper Twinkletoes! Say hello to Thumper Twinkletoes, a 5-year-old Silky Terrier who’s as charming as his name suggests! Weighing just over 6 pounds, this tiny gentleman is full of love, personality, and a little sparkle wherever he goes. Thumper is super sweet and adores being the center of attention. Whether he’s soaking up belly rubs, showing off his happy dance, or trotting proudly on his leash, this little guy is all about love and joy. He also enjoys spending time outside and taking in the fresh air. When Thumper first came to us after being found roaming the streets, he didn’t have much hair — but with good food, medical care, and lots of love, he’s grown much of it back and looks fabulous! He may have some allergies (possibly environmental), but his Cytopoint shots help keep him comfortable and happy. Thumper is working on his house training, but he’s already a great leash walker and a fast learner. With a little patience and consistency, he’ll be the perfect companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, and resilient little pup who loves attention and has a heart as big as his name, Thumper Twinkletoes is ready to steal yours! Interested in becoming a forever home for Thumper? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Story
Yes, that Harry Connick… but fluffier, smaller, and way more likely to kiss your face. Harry Connick Junior is a 3-year-old Yorkie weighing in at a mighty 9 pounds of pure personality. He’s the kind of dog who wakes up every day ready to have a good time. Sometimes that means zoomies so silly they should be on Broadway, other times it means being totally chill and just vibing wherever you are. Check out Harry on his YouTube video https://youtu.be/oUyMESB1zH0?si=vUysWnrsXvnh97Iv Harry LOVES people. New friends? Old friends? Doesn’t matter, he’s all in. He happily lets you hold him like a baby, cuddle him, pet him, smooch him… honestly, he’s just grateful to be included. And the kisses? Endless. Prepare yourself. He’s great with kids too! When he met them, he was gentle, friendly, and showered them with kisses like the little gentleman he is. In the yard, Harry really shines, running full speed with the most hilarious little prance. It’s impossible not to laugh watching him. He lives peacefully with lots of other dogs and get along great with them, he is incredibly well-behaved in the home. His foster family says he’s just an all-around easy, happy, funny little guy who fits in anywhere.
