Though she may not rush up for attention, Cookie is quietly taking everything in. Each day she makes small, brave steps forward, learning that hands can be kind and homes can be calm. Her coat is finally starting to grow back, and as it fills in, it’s easy to see the beautiful dog she’s becoming—inside and out. Cookie truly shines when she’s around other confident, dog-loving dogs. They help show her the ropes and give her the reassurance she needs to feel safe and secure. A home with a friendly canine companion would be ideal for her. Cookie is looking for her “just right” person—the one who understands that love doesn’t always come fast, but when it does, it’s deeply meaningful. If you have a soft heart, a quiet home, and the patience to help a shy soul learn how wonderful life can be, Cookie just might be the dog you’ve been waiting for. 💕
