Meet Dubbs – A Little Guy with a Big Heart 🐾Dubbs is a 5-year-old Yorkshire Terrier mix who’s ready to find a calm, loving home. This sweet boy was found as a stray and never reclaimed, but he’s hopeful for a fresh start with someone patient and kind.Dubbs weighs 13 pounds and can be a little bit iffy at first—he might take some time to warm up—but we believe with a quiet, stable environment, he’ll truly thrive. We don’t yet know how he does with other dogs, cats, or kids, and his house and crate training status is still a mystery, so a calm home where he can feel safe is ideal.Dubbs is currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment. Once adopted, he will need ongoing treatment to fully recover, so his new family should be prepared to support him through this process.If you’re looking for a loyal little companion to give a second chance, Dubbs could be the perfect match. With patience and love, he’s ready to blossom.Dubb’s Adoption fee is a NO CHARGE FEEDogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
