Story
Ella is an adorable 8 yr old Yorkie, who was just rescued from an Amish puppy mill. Life has just begun for this sweet girl and she loves affection! Ella is shy, sweet, and gentle. After only a few days, she is already starting to follow her foster mom around and loves a warm lap to lay in. She behaves perfectly left home free in the house, and is already doing great with house training. If you take her out regularly, she does not have any accidents in the house. She gets along great with dogs and cats and likes toys! Because her face was so matted, her fur had to be clipped on her snout. Once her fur has comes back in, she will look more like a Yorkie! Ella will need someone who is patient and gentle, to teach her that humans are safe and kind, although she is catching on quickly! She is going to be a loving companion! Story
Lovable Lenny – this 7 lb bundle of love, fun, and entertainment is a true gem of a guy.  He’s a Chorkie, mom is a Chihuahua and dad is a Yorkie.  Lenny is always  in a good mood, ready for the next adventure.  He is only ONE year old, tiny, happy go lucky and an ideal lap/cuddle boy. His owner became ill and could no longer care for this sweet little boy. He luckily landed with Critter Cavalry Rescue and a wonderful foster mom who took him in and has been getting him neutered and updated on all shots, Heartworm negative, dewormed and microchipped. The next step is to now find the perfect home that will love him forever so that he does not have to move around ever again.  He is very adaptable and can fit in with any environment and as they say, can hang with the best of them.  Fine with other dogs, cats and seems to be very easy going with children.  Make note that we would prefer older children due to Lenny’s delicate size.  He uses the puppy pad, but foster mom is working on housebreaking and a schedule he can rely on.  His former human was not physically able to walk him, so he is accustomed to puppy pads.  Lenny is adapting to all the new changes and living with a mom who is patient and showing him the rules and how to live a more active life with someone that is not handicapped and limited with taking him on walks or outside to the bathroom.   Lenny deserves a vibrant family and home that is active and ready to take him on adventures in life.  This little guy is smart and only wanting a stable life filled with love and the best of things that a young, small dog could expect.  If this is what you want to give Lenny then please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com.  Lenny is ready NOW to make a change in his life that is good and secure PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 13, 2024, 2:10 pm
