Story
This little princess is aptly named Jewel. What a doll! She was born 4/17/23. She is up to date on vaccinations and ready to bring snuggly magic to your life. Her adoption donation is $1200 and the transport fee $165.00. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Sometimes a tough hand is dealt us all in life, and we just pick up and move on, right?  Well our precious Coconut got a bad birth defect that has him on a shorter life span than most of us expect for our sweet babies.  Critter Cavalry found this boy as a stray in a rural area that is not a good one and someone let him go out and never went looking for him.  He has a leaking bladder that cannot be controlled. We put a diaper on him daily and he is happy with that.  This boy is delightful and happy and a love but he doesn’t have a 10 year lifespan.  He has a shortened lifespan that just needs love.  Would you consider this boy to bless your life and to love him unconditionally and he needs a loving home for the years he has on this earth. This boy will need a diaper on him full time for the rest of his life.  He was born with a non-functioning kidney and then another one that was not healthy.  He is 1 year old and 12 pounds and the sweetest boy on the planet.  Would we term him “hospice”… maybe, but the vets don’t know what God has in store for any of our dogs.  He is being put on renal failure food and it could halt a lot of symptoms of the kidney failure.  But you know what won’t stop a thing?  His happy spirit, his loving nature, his desire to live each day to the fullest.  We want this boy to have the best years that God will give him through our best efforts to give him a chance. No, he will NOT be a senior.  He will be a bookmark in your life that you will never forget.  A joy that you would have missed if you just looked at his stats.  He will be a snuggle bug that you shared love with.  He will be a memory however long or fleeting that you say… “I shared this life and I will never regret it.”  We will keep Coconut with us till that special person or family steps forward.  Until then, he is OURS at Critter Cavalry Rescue and we will always love him and cherish the days, the weeks or the months that he needs us.   If you are interested please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.October 3, 2023, 11:46 pm
