READ HIS DESCRIPTION BEFORE FILLING OUT AN APPLICATION King has been through more than his fair share of ups and downs. For years he was found running loose and taken to the pound, only to be reclaimed by his owner—until one day, they didn’t come back. The condition he was left in was heartbreaking: a horribly matted coat, nails painfully overgrown, and several missing teeth. Despite all of this, King’s spirit shines. He is truly a SWEETHEART who adores people and loves to be part of the action. But there are a few things to know about him: 🐾 Age: He is 8 years old, a young Yorkshire Terrier mix, and full of spunk. 🐾 No Cats: King does not get along with feline friends. 🐾 Escape Artist: He must always be leashed or on a secure lead, even in a fenced yard, as he’s clever at finding ways out. 🐾 Dog Relationships: King enjoys other dogs, but he prefers his one‑on‑one time with humans. He can get moody if another pup interrupts his special moments. So he would be better in a home by himself. 🐾 Kids: We do not know how King would be with kids. Due to his tendency to escape, he would do best in a home with older children who follow rules and won't accidentally let him out. 🐾 Currently using belly bands while inside - he's a work in progress and will need someone willing to work with him. King deserves a home that understands his quirks and celebrates his resilience. With patience, structure, and lots of love, he will reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adoption fee: $350

Meet Archie! Archie is a 6-year-old, 10 lb. Yorkie mix who is ready to find his forever home. He came to us when his previous owner could no longer provide the care he needed, and now this little guy is blossoming into the loving companion he was always meant to be. Archie would be a wonderful match for someone—especially an older person—who has plenty of time to shower him with attention. He absolutely loves people, enjoys car rides (he’s the perfect little backseat buddy!), and will happily entertain himself by tossing his toys in the air and catching them. He is a sweetheart who loves giving kisses and is just now coming out of his shell, seeking out more affection every day. Archie does have a bit of food aggression, so he’ll need to be fed separately if there are other dogs in the home. He can also get a little jealous of other dogs, so he’ll do best with a family who understands how to manage that. Archie currently lives with a cat—he may give chase from time to time, but mostly ignores him. He doesn’t live with children, so we’re not sure how he would do around them. Archie is crate trained, potty trained, and will require a standard fenced yard in his new home to keep him safe and secure. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and is on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention If you’re looking for a devoted little friend to brighten your days, Archie is ready to ride home with you! Maeve is a 4 year old Yorkie. She came to us as a breeder surrender. She is extremely shy. She warms up after a little bit. Maeve loves to be held and cuddles up real close. She will take a little while to adjust to a new home. She will need someone who is patient with her. She would do best with no kids or older kids in the home. A quiet peaceful environment so she can slowly adjust to living in a home. Maeve is spayed, up to date on shots, rabies, microchipped and heartworm negative and on prevention. She will require a secured fenced in yard. A home with another small dog might help her adjust. Her adoption fee is $425 ##2581631##

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.adoption fee $325.00Krystal is a small friend who is looking for a new family to love. She is skittish in new surroundings but settles in once she feels safe. She is crate trained and understands how to potty outside but will need consistency to excel.  Krystal is new to our care so we are still learning more about her personality each day. Please check back for more details. Thank you. New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
