I will sit near you, judge you, and graciously allow you to exist in my presence. Please do not attempt to pick me up. That is a bold and incorrect decision. Also, do not pet me without permission. I will let you know when it’s time. (Hint: it will usually be when you are busy doing something else… or giving attention to another cat. That is unacceptable, and I will intervene immediately.) I enjoy the company of other cats and can vibe with friendly dogs. Humans, however… are a work in progress. I am currently training them to understand my likes, dislikes, and overall superiority. Progress is slow, but I remain hopeful. If you are patient, respectful, and willing to be gently managed by a small, opinionated creature, I may allow you the honor of being my human. Apply within. Pinecone is an absolute love bug! You will not find a sweeter elderly gentleman than him. He's a beautiful flame-point Siamese with blue eyes. He is totally naked now from a serious grooming, but when his fur grows out, he will be a gorgeous long haired floof. His poor little ears are permanently down because of some ear mites/ear infection in his past life. That is all taken care of now but his downward-facing ears will be a symbol of a tough past life. The first 10 years of his life wasn’t easy living among a colony of cats wondering day in and day out where their next meal might come from, but that didn’t dampen his spirit or heart. Now that he is in foster care, has a warm bed, lots of food and gentle hands to pet him he provides endless love and purrs. He will even drool a little bit when he is really showing his affection. He adores other cats so he must have another kitty in his new home to enjoy naps in sunny spots and snacks throughout the day. No young rambunctious cats though, he is past the crazy energy of life. He should be fine with older gentle kids who will continue to dote on him. We don’t know how he is with dogs, but he might do okay with a very mellow dog to share his new home with. He will need to have a nice safe yard to enjoy nice days if he wants to go outside but also have the reassurance he can come back in a warm house anytime he wants. He is in Wasilla. Billowing Snow (or Billie for short) is a lovely blue-eyed flame point Siamese girl. We think she is about 4 years old. Billie used to live in a cat colony where she got food and water but not much attention from the caregiver of the colony. Now, she is looking for someone who can give her the attention and love she is so hoping for. She is a shy girlie but loves pets. Every day she becomes more comfortable around her foster mom and in the warm cozy home she now gets to live. Despite her timidity she will curl up with you at night when you’re too asleep to notice her and will nap and purr by your side. She loves playing with her toys. She loves having toys for the first time in her life. Billie could live in a one cat household but would likely also benefit from a buddy cat who can help bring her out of her shell some more. She grew up around others and a friend to share cat things with would be great. We don't know about dogs. She will need a place to go outside and enjoy all the wonders of the natural world that she lived in for so long. Now she's hoping for the best of both worlds.......a loving family and a cozy home, as well as the joys and happiness that the outside world can bring. She's in Anchorage. Call 907 980-8898
