If Tom were in an old-fashioned kissing booth, the humans would be lined up at his stall. Tom is all sweetness wrapped in friendly. He loves to be pet and returns his affection in purrs and snuggles. He's an outgoing kitty who would do well in any household. Just a great all-around kitty and at a year and a few months old, he's gotten over those crazy crawl the curtains stages and is ready to be your couch TV kitty with a peppering of playtime. (Approx. 18 months, November '23). Currently in a foster home, you can set up a day to come meet this kitty (on Saturdays during adoption event hours). Sadie arrived at our cattery as a new mom of five squirming babies.  She was such a good mom that we added four feral orphans to her nest which she immediately adopted as her own. Sadie nursed and tended to all nine kittens expertly! Even with this giant family Sadie maintained an amazing air of calm in a room full of furry chaos.  When it was time to call the babies back to the nest at night she walked around the house making the quietest little “trill” sound until all were accounted for.  No tiger mom here.  Sadie ruled her family with quiet and calm.  She even adopted an adolescent cat that was only with us for a few weeks, and searched for him, quietly “trilling” around the house for hours when he found his forever home. Her mixed brood have gone on to their forever homes and these days Sadie is enjoying a well earned retirement.  It has been fun watching her post-motherhood personality emerge.  This lady is a love bug! She loves attention and pets and has carved out a spot for herself in our busy household without any friction with the other animals in the house.  She puts up with our obnoxious princess of a resident cat with little more than some disapproving feline side-eye.  She tolerates our big dogs and will let them know if they get too close for her comfort with a quick and quiet growl that the dogs respect.  (Dogs do make her a bit nervous though, and she would probably prefer a dog-free living situation.) Sadie is a former super-mom and current sweetheart that has more chill than just about any cat we have fostered.  She gets along with everybody, loves attention, and is happy to quietly nap the day away.  Come and meet Sadie and don’t miss this opportunity to make this special lady part of your family.
