Story
Abby (born July 2024) is an intelligent beauty who thoughtfully reads the room before jumping into play. She loves vertical space, and cat trees or wall mounts are recommended for her climbing nature. She is a soccer star and dribbles ping pong balls with style. Abby (rescued along with her brother Benji) is a shy foster and an independent soul. She is always near but doesn't like over-handling. The way to her heart is with play. She will run to partake, but not if other kitties are too rough. She could do well as a solo kitty. She particularly loves bedtime to socialize – jumping up on your bed to purr, head butt and cuddle. Abby has a soft ticked tabby coat and big, beautiful gold green eyes. (maybe Abyssinian mix?) At mealtime, Abby is not shy and chirps or squeals for attention. In a loving, peaceful home, her confidence will shine with time, and she will delight with her energy and sweet presence. To learn more, visit socalpetrescue.com

Story
Female Abyssinian Room 1 DOB 4-28-2019    Bubbly is a stunning female purebred Abyssinian with a ticked Cinnamon coat, expressive almond shaped eyes that give her a regal look. Abyssinians are highly intelligent cats.   She was rescued from a breeder with some of her mates.   She’s a little shy and introverted, but once she warms up to you and feels safe, she will show her affectionate and playful side. She is going to need an adopter with patience who will let her go at her own pace. We think she’s been through a lot and now it’s her time to feel like a kitten again.   Come in to meet her at our cage-free adoption center in Westlake Village.November 18, 2025, 4:41 pm

Story
Charlie is a 4 month old cutie pie! He starts out shy but he loves to play with his foster cat friends, his brother Buster, and you once he gets to know you -- he even climbs up to snuggle next to his foster mom in bed. He and his brother both started out shy but warmed up to their foster mom after a few good meals. He's looking for a home with either his brother or another friendly kitty friend as he gets too sad when he's all alone. Aprox birthday 6/30/25. Charlie is healthy and has received top notch care at our rescue, like all our kitties. He tested negative for FeLV/FIV, has been dewormed, vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. All that is included in his $125 adoption fee. To meet Charlie apply here or at www.TheRescueTrain.org. Please don't be shy and answer all the questions thoroughly! Charlie and Buster are in a foster home in Van Nuys. Your application is used to set up a safe meeting and successful adoption. Los Angeles adopters only please.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Abby is very sweet and loving girl, who will give and receive attention and sleep on top of you, once she gets to know you. She does well in a home with other cats but can sometimes get over-stimulated, however once properly acclimated that will calm down. She would do well as the only cat in the home with someone who does not work away full-time as she needs a lot of attention. She has a big personality and makes what she does and doesn't want known. She would do well with a cat-savvy person. The longer Abby is in your home, the more comfortable she will be and will become your sweet companion! Abby was abandoned outside a known cat rescuer's door, and while we don't know her history, it is clear they cared about her and wanted to be sure she was safe.
