Story
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat through our Owner Placement Program. We take no responsibility for the health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this. Remington is NOT in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home, but residing with my current owner in Danville. Adoption fee applies. Remington and Maximus MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions. Remington “Remi” & Maximus “Max” — A Once-in-a-Lifetime Bonded Pair Seeking Their Forever Home **Urgent: Remi and Max need a loving home together as soon as possible.** Remington (“Remi”) and Maximus (“Max” or “Maxi”) are two extraordinary cats whose world was turned upside down after the unexpected passing of their beloved owner. Through no fault of their own, these sweet boys suddenly found themselves without the person and home they knew and loved. Their greatest comfort right now is each other, and their family has made it clear that keeping this devoted pair together is their top priority. These two best friends share a truly special bond. They have spent their lives together and are looking for a forever home where they can continue to provide each other with the companionship and security they depend on. The adopter who opens their heart and home to both of them will be gaining two amazing cats with incredible personalities and so much love to give. Remi is a beautiful Abyssinian who is gentle, sensitive, and a little more reserved. He is shy in new situations but is not reclusive. In his previous home, he was a very outgoing and affectionate boy. Given the tremendous change he has experienced, he simply needs patience, reassurance, and time to feel safe again. Max is a magnificent Egyptian Mau with a big presence and an even bigger personality. He is large, strong, social, and enjoys being around people. Although he was initially frightened by all the changes and spent time hiding, he has already shown his loving nature by allowing his caregiver to hold him. He is a resilient boy who is ready to reconnect with a family who will cherish him. Their current caregiver shared: “Max has let me hold him even though he was scared at first and hiding in corners or behind stuff. Remi is more shy though he was super outgoing in his former home.” Their hesitation is completely understandable after losing their owner and being moved from the only home they knew. With stability, kindness, and a little time, we believe these wonderful cats will regain their confidence and show their new family just how special they are. Remi and Max are exceptional examples of their breeds. They were lovingly purchased from reputable breeders, and have lived as cherished family members. They do well in an active household and have experience with dogs, children, lots of people, other cats, birds, and fish. Max is currently overweight and will need a family committed to helping him get healthier through controlled portions and scheduled feeding rather than free-feeding. Both cats are: * Current on their 3-year Rabies and FVRCP vaccinations * FELV/FIV negative * Ready to bring love, companionship, and personality into their next home Remi and Max have already lost the person they loved most. They now need someone to help them begin the next chapter of their lives — together. The family who adopts this incredible pair will be rewarded with two loving companions who have so much affection, loyalty, and joy to share. This is an extraordinary pair — leaning on each other after such a heartbreaking transition this is more than simply adopting two cats; — you will be preserving a lifelong friendship and giving two grieving animals the chance to feel safe again. **Please help us find Remi and Max the safe, loving home they urgently need. Their hearts are waiting.** Remington is: Neutered/Spayed, Vaccinated, FELV Tested, Microchipped, Wet Food, Dry Food, Litter Box Perfect Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish them and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are a perfect adopter for Remington please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Pamela at cheemers@gmail.com or (707) 498-6578. If you are unable to reach Pamela please email info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

Story
Don’t let the stripes fool you—this Tiger is all heart! Sweet, slightly sassy, and fiercely loyal, there is no question that she is Queen of the (concrete) jungle. Even though she’s wild at heart, these days she prefers to hunt for sunny nap spots or extra cuddles. She adores her cat tree kingdom, surveying her domain through the window, and purring loudly when you scratch behind her ears. Tiger can happily live with feline friends who respect her space. If you are ready to welcome this regal huntress into your home, adopt Tiger today!
