Meet Layla: Your Potential New Best Friend! Are you looking for a sweet, clever, and comforting companion to brighten your home? Look no further than Layla! At 3 years old, and likely a Tabby/Abyssinian mix, Layla has spent her life indoors, but don’t let her sheltered background fool you—she is a remarkably confident and curious feline who knows how to make herself right at home. What Makes Layla Special: The Ultimate Companion: While she is wonderfully content in cozy spaces, Layla loves being close to her humans. Whether she’s following you from room to room, hopping up into your lap, or perching right beside you, she is always up for sharing some quality time. Sunlight and Wildlife Enthusiast: Layla’s favorite afternoon routine involves finding the absolute best patch of sunlight in her cat tree. From there, she loves to gaze out the window, keeping a keen eye on passing bugs, lizards, squirrels, and birds. Playtime Pro: Layla is an active, smart kitty who adores her toys! Her absolute favorites are wand toys featuring bells or plush attachments, and she has boundless energy when chasing the red dot of an LED pointer. A Quick Warm-Up for “Cat People”: Though she can initially be a bit shy around brand-new faces, Layla is a savvy judge of character. She quickly warms up to true cat lovers and wastes no time finding her way right into their laps! If you are a seasoned cat lover looking for a smart, affectionate, and playful companion who will happily share your lap and your sunny windowsills, Layla is ready to meet you! Adopt Layla TODAY! READ CAREFULLY! BIOS ARE FOR BOTH KITTENS Twinkie (white with Tabby markings) Twinkie is a gentle soul who is learning that people can be pretty wonderful. He is full of energy, yet incredibly sweet once he’s had a chance to burn off that energy. He has a fondness for elevated spots and usually curls up beside his sister, Fawn, on the cat tree for naps. He’ll eagerly leap into your lap to catch an episode of Jeopardy, though he’s not above nudging Fawn aside to claim more space—and more attention—for himself. If you’re working remotely, expect Twinkie to park himself on your desk and keep a watchful eye over your typing, as if reviewing your documents. While he’s a little cautious around new people at first, he quickly warms up once he’s figured out they’re friendly. Fawn (orange/tan/black Abyssinian and Tabby markings) Fawn is a sweet, soft-spoken little girl who often follows her brother’s cues—making it clear that Twinkie is the leader of the pair. She feels most comfortable in the company of her brother or another cat, and while she coexists peacefully with the other felines in the foster home, she quietly respects their boundaries. Gentle and affectionate by nature, Fawn may take some time to open up to new people. However, once she forms a bond, her loyalty is unwavering. She adores dozing on or near her human’s lap and enjoys quiet moments of closeness. Though she can be shy around strangers at first, familiarity quickly puts her at ease—especially when a tempting churu treat is offered. Adopt Twinkie and Fawn TODAY!
