Abyssinian kittens & cats in Granville, Ohio

Fiona is a stunning medium-haired girl with a touch of Abyssinian flair — from her warm ticked coat to her graceful, curious personality. She’s equal parts elegance and affection, always nearby to supervise your day or ask for gentle pets. Fiona has a soft, playful spirit and a look that turns heads wherever she goes. She will be most content in a quiet home, free of kid chaos. She gives gentle headbutts, and is just a tad shy at first but does warm up quickly. All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized. We also have a cat cafe full of friendly, furry faces -- Whiskers Catnip Cottage in Granville! If you would like to adopt, please fill out the application through the link or the website at www.whiskersofohio.org. You will receive an email confirmation when your application is received; if you do not, please double check that all questions on the application were answered and that your email is correct! We make no breed guarantees; we are a rescue, not a breeder. Please apply only if you are committed to adopting! Our workers are all volunteers and it takes time to process applications. We are a registered, volunteer run 501c3 non-profit organization. We do have the ability to fly a cat or pair of kittens via Southwest's SWATT program to any location served by Southwest Airlines. It isn't free but has been a great way to transport animals in a timely manner.

Meet Stuart! 💙🐾 At 11 years old, Stuart has left his wild kitten days behind and is ready for the good life! This chatty & handsome lynx point boy is looking for a quiet, peaceful home (minimal kid interaction preferred) where he can relax, feel safe, and enjoy the finer things—cozy naps, gentle attention, and lots of love. Stuart would do best in a calm, stress-free home without young children. He's hoping to find someone who understands that older cats have a special kind of magic and that the best friendships are built with patience and trust. If you're looking for an XXL handsome, mellow companion to share your quiet evenings with, Stuart may be your perfect match. ❤️ All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized. 🎶 Meet Penny Lane! 🎶 This sweet lynx point girl has always believed that “no” is simply the beginning of a negotiation. 😹 When Penny Lane decided she wanted a better life, she wasn’t taking no for an answer! She went from a rough start to discovering that life can be pretty wonderful when someone finally says YES! Now this determined little lady is ready to leave her rags behind and step into her very own happily-ever-after. Penny Lane is proof that sometimes you just have to keep asking until the right door opens. This girl must have a blanket for a bed because she likes to burrow under and play "where's Penny Lane?" again and again!💕👑 All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized.
