Story
We adopted Sam in late April from a local rescue to keep our other male cat company. At the time, we did not suspect that he was possibly an Abyssinian breed. This is a breed that is very energetic and requires lots of enrichment, play, and attention. For personal reasons, we need to move and we are not able to bring him or his “brother” Jack with us (whom we are also rehoming and would love for them to go together). Sam will bring you his favourite toy, give you the cutest chirp, and tap your foot to let you know it’s playtime. He loves blanket forts and climbing his cat tree. He’s not a lap cat but will always be by your side. He’ll sometimes even roll over for gentle belly rubs. He’s curious and sweet. He cannot tolerate dry food as he will regurgitate it so he is on a wet food diet only. He will need to have his teeth cleaned regularly. The requested adoption fee is to recoup the adoption fee. Proof of this payment can be provided.
