Speckles is a beautiful EXOTIC Abyssinian mix with long limbs giving her a model`s look. She enjoys face rubs and chin scratches, hanging out with her humans, napping and the occasional playtime. She loves looking out windows and napping in the sunshine coming in. If you are ready to give Speckles a lap and place to nap, you won`t regret it. She will make a wonderful companion cat. She is gentle and sweet. Speckles would do best in a home as an only cat. She likes to be queen of her castle! She was born late 2018.Speckles is originally a mama porch kitty from Dallas. One of our Dallas fosters discovered a mama kitty camped out on a porch with her babies. She knew she needed help and was in search of someone to rescue her and her babies. Speckles raised her kittens, and did a very good job. Now it`s her turn. Saving Hope doesn`t leave the mamas behind. She is litter box trained and fully vetted. WONDERFULLY SWEET AND MELLOW, FRIENDLY AND LOVING, EVEN PLAYFUL! NEEDS A LAID BACK, LIGHT-HEARTED ENVIRONMENT, THAT`S GENERALLY LOW VOLUME AND ENERGY LEVEL, WITH FUN PEOPLE OVER AGE 6. VERY TOLERANT OF GENTLE FRIENDLY CATS THAT RESPECT HIS SPACE. A LONER CAT THAT ENJOYS OTHER CATS AROUND! MIGHT BE OKAY WITH A GENTLE DOG, NOT DOG TESTED. I`ve grown up with very loving people, and sweet and playful cats, some are my roommates here! They know that I like my space, but also love that they are here to comfort me, since I get nervous in new places at first. I`ll probably find a special place that feels safe and need privacy for the first couple of days as I process my new surroundings. I`ll definitely need to hear your comforting voice as you bring my food and treats, or just stop by to let me know you`re here and waiting for me. I`ll just come out one day and be ready to join everybody and start getting and giving some love. I`ll even start to play with toys and begin to make things fun! Toys are new to us all here, but you would never know it! We`re all smart kids and know how to make anywhere with some toys a fun place to be! We`re having fun with lots of little toys, wand toys means playing with you and that`s especially fun! A universal favorite is the touch activated toy moving under a sheet, some also have a fluttering butterfly on top, from Amazon. You might melt whenever I show you how sweet I really am! I`ll come up to you and nudge your hand so you`ll pet me. I might put my front paws up on your leg and look at you with these icy blue eyes, asking for a treat or to come sit with you, or rub against your leg when you`re busy letting you know I love you. I`m soft and squishy, and love to be held, even carried around sometimes! You make me feel special when you bring me treats, and I will most often take them from you one at a time if you hold them out! Other than a frisky moment of play, or quick climbing being silly on the cat tree, I`m very quiet and mellow. Having soft blankets and beds in several kinds of places will make me extremely happy too! Your love and time playing with toys will continue to make me more confident, but I`ll always have plenty of love to go around!
