Story
Meet Millie, she’s an adorable 9-10 month old girl who is an absolute dream. Millie had owners that loved her however due to life changes they were no longer able to give her the life she deserves. This lil lady is the perfect size to snooze on your lap (she loves to cuddle), she will follow you everywhere you go and be your best friend. Her foster says she is the best girl, she’s quiet, loving and simply the sweetest. Millie is the best girl. She is a well mannered young dog with is much love to share. She loves everyone! Kids, adults and animals of any kind are all her best friends. Millie will be the best addition to your family. Millie is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! Story
Meet Willa Jean! 🐾 Willa Jean is a shy but sweet scruffy girl with a heart that blooms once she feels safe. Though reserved at first, Willa forms deep bonds with her special person and finds comfort in quiet companionship. She currently lives with a foster family that includes older kids and other dogs, and she enjoys the calm, steady presence of her foster dad—her favorite porch buddy. Willa has a soft spot for gentle men and would thrive in a home with a patient adult or a quiet singleton who understands that trust takes time. She’s comfortable around calm canine companions and could coexist peacefully with another mellow dog. Her ideal day includes lounging in her own yard, soaking up the sunshine, and ending the day curled up in a cozy spot next to her person. If you’re looking for a loyal snuggle buddy who just needs a little time and patience to blossom, Willa Jean is ready to find her forever home—and her forever heart. 💕 Application: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/684109704c93cce7b20cbfa7 If you have any questions, email her adoption coordinator at Marie@threelittlepittiesrescue.org We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA  or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey!   You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience!    The adoption fee is $1,200 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!    We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.    Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!    Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.   Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.    The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.   It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:   Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family  Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions  70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer  Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!   Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Story
If you are looking for the most snuggly, adorable, unbelievably sweet, wonderful scruffy little muppet, you’ll no doubt fall in love with Woody! This little guy came into the pound and no one could believe how wonderfully adorable this boy is!! The perfect scruff, the most amazing little kisses and snuggles, it wasn’t a day before a fantastic foster home scooped this little angel up to care for until he finds his dream home! Woody is about 2 years old, and weighs a perfectly petite 12 lbs! He immediately began having all of his medical work done! He’s now current on vaccines, deworming, he’s heartworm tested negative, he’s current on preventative, microchipped and now neutered! He’s been given a clean bill of health and this boy is thriving!! Now he just needs to find love! In his foster home he immediately settled in with ease. He’s been reliably friendly and loving in all situations, and welcomes relationships with everyone he meets! He’s living with a cat now whom he is fantastic with! He’s also living with other dogs and he just loves to play and snuggle with them. He’s got medium energy and is a great balance of ready to join you when you’re on the go anywhere, but he’s also ready to spend the night snuggled in your yard watching movies. He’s fantastic in the car, great in walks, and loves being your copilot on all of life’s adventures! He’s excellent with house training and reliably going potty outside or pee pads, whichever you’d prefer! He’s not a vocal guy, just a tender, sweet, silly, easy going little fellow! He absolutely loves toys and has so much fun playing with little toys and balls, and is happy to share with his doggy friends! He’s such a friendly guy. He’s purely a social butterfly with a fantastic temperament, and his best trait is really that he’s the world’s best snuggler!!! If this absolutely adorable, perfectly scruffy, wonderful boy is your dream pup, please visit www.greatdivideanimalrescue.org and submit an application for adoption today!!
