Meet Arikazona, or Ari for short! Weighing in at just 14lbs, Ari's breed is just a guess, our vet thinks he's an Affenpinscher while others say he's a Shorkie, a Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix or a Schnauzer/Yorkie mix. Whatever he is, he's very cute! Ari has a very sad history. He was found tied to a box in a field on a cold day in Baltimore City. Nobody knew how he got there, and nobody came to claim him at the shelter. We knew he needed us! Ari is very friendly and healthy and gets along great with other dogs. We think he's about 11 years old which is still pretty young for a small dog.​ Please complete an adoption application and note that we only adopt within 40 miles of Baldwin, MD, as we must do in-person home visits.

This beautiful and sweet Redbone Coonhound is estimated to be less than 2 years old, and we think he is on the younger side. He is full of spunk and energy and would be best suited for a person or family that is active outdoors. He walks well on a leash and loves getting sniffs in. He loves chewing on nylabones and playing tug with his dog buddy. He does well with other dogs and is not alpha. Even though he is high energy, he also enjoys sitting on the couch with you. His favorite sleep spot is in bed between two people. He will crate at night but it takes a few minutes for him to settle down. Can you blame him? FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. My adoption fee (if picked up locally in Crossville, Tennessee) is $275.
