Story
Meet Zeus 🐾 Zeus is a sweet, sensitive young dog who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. He’s shy and cautious around new people—especially men—and can get anxious when things change. But once he learns to trust you, he’s incredibly affectionate and loyal. With his foster, he’s quiet, calm, and perfectly content to nap nearby during the workday. Zeus has an adorable mix of confidence and quirkiness—one ear stands tall while the other flops, and he prances like a little horse when he walks. He has a funny “talk-whine” when he wants to go outside and loves to “hunt” for sticks, proudly carrying them around or tossing them in the air to play by himself. 💫 Highlights: 🏡 House-trained and crate-trained 🦮 Walks nicely on leash—graceful prance included! 🚗 Rides calmly in the car 🐶 Enjoys dogs his size once he knows them 💤 Sleeps well through the night ❤️ Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative 🏠 Ideal Home: Zeus would do best in a quieter home with patient adopters who can help him continue to build confidence. He’d love a fenced yard to stretch his legs and run, and he might enjoy having a gentle dog companion. He’d also be fine as an only dog with plenty of walks and attention. Because he can be nervous, dog-savvy older children would be best. With time, consistency, and love, Zeus will reward his adopter with deep trust, quiet companionship, and a lifetime of devotion. 💛
