Story
Duke is a 4 year old Anatolian Shepherd x Akbash. Duke is a great protector with lots of obedience training. He is amazing with kids. We have 9, 7 and 6 year olds and he loves them and is so gentle with them. Duke is good with dogs he is properly introduced to. He currently lives with a 4 year old Aussie Shepherd x Boarder Collie. He doesn't not mix well with reactive or aggressive dogs, his protective instincts kick in. Duke has very high anxiety when left alone. We have 2 aggressive dogs living near us and he can hear them bark when we are away. He wrecked some blinds and scratched up window sills because of his stress of protecting his home. We unfortunately can't take to damage to to house and despite training we can seem to help Duke. It also isn't fair to him. We would like him to go to a farm or a home more isolated where he doesn't have the stresses of other dogs barking right near his home.
