Story
Jason is only 11 months and has spent over 3 months at the shelter! We know not everyone has the space for a big dog like Jason, but we are hopeful that his goofy and gentle demeanor will win someone over! Jason is a big dog to spend an extended period of time in a kennel like he has. He is making the most of his situation and loves the time he spends outside on walks and playing fetch! Jason absolutely loves chasing tennis balls and can play fetch for hours if allowed! When out on walks, he is strong on the leash at first but eases up once he has gotten some energy out. He knows his basic obedience and would likely enjoy learning new tricks and advancing his training (he is EXTREMELY treat motivated)! Anatolian Shepherds are livestock guardian dogs and are known for being intelligent, loyal, and protective. Whoever adopts Jason should research his breed to make sure he is a good fit for their lifestyle! Jason loves to go on “sniff walks” where he can spend plenty of time taking in his surroundings and enjoying the different smells. He has an affectionate side to him that really shines once he has burned off some of his pent up energy! He is still young and would love to find a forever family of his own

Story
Hank is a good boy that needs lots of love and attention. He is a Covid puppy, so he does not enjoy being alone. He would love lots of open space to roam, but also loves being an inside dog and hanging on the couch. He just wants to love you! He is great in public on leash. LOVES the dog beach and all of his friends there. House broken. Good with other dogs. Raised in a home with middle aged kids. He is a guardian dog, so he does protect his property and will bark if any other animals or people are coming by. Once Introduced, he is ready to lay on the love. He does need to be fed alone, as he was rescued as a puppy where he was malnourished. He needs his time with his food, and is very protective over it. Will Hank be the new love of your life? Reach out and let us know. This is the most heartbreaking choice I have had to make, as I love this dog very much, but we can no longer have him in our home situation.
