Story
Meet Jenna – Your Gentle Guardian Angel Jenna is a sweet, gentle soul looking for a calm, loving home to call her own. This lovely girl enjoys the best of both worlds—snuggling indoors with her people and spending time outside keeping a quiet eye on her surroundings. She arrived at the Ranch with her beloved momma, Callie, and the two were very close. Jenna is friendly and affectionate with new people, but she can feel a little overwhelmed in busy or loud environments, so she’d do best in a quieter home where she can relax and feel secure. Jenna has even been a pet therapy star, bringing calm and comfort to seniors in peaceful settings. Though a bit shy at first, she warmed up quickly and clearly enjoyed the experience of making others feel at ease. She walks beautifully on a leash and is picking up basic cues like “Sit” and “Down.” Jenna is eager to please, and her mellow nature means she doesn’t need extensive training—just gentle guidance and encouragement. In a short-term foster home, Jenna was introduced to chickens, turkeys, and cats. She did great on a leash, showing calm curiosity and allowing them to approach her with no fuss. Off leash, she did show a bit of chase instinct, so she’s best kept on leash around smaller animals and in unsecured areas. With consistency and care, she’ll continue to thrive and grow. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion with a heart full of sweetness, Jenna might just be your perfect match. Call the Ranch to schedule a meet-and-greet with Jenna today!   Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.  All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       October 21, 2025, 6:02 pm

Story
Meet Floyd – A Big-Hearted Gentle Soul Floyd is a sweet, sensitive boy with a heart full of love — he’s just waiting for the right person to share it with. A naturally gentle soul, Floyd needs a little time and patience to feel safe, but once he bonds with you, it’s a connection that runs deep. He’s the kind of dog who will be by your side through thick and thin, offering loyalty, love, and endless cuddles. Despite his larger size, Floyd is convinced he’s a lap dog. He absolutely lives for cuddle time and will happily stretch out across your lap, soaking up as much affection as he can get. He’s affectionate, tender, and thrives on close, loving relationships with his people. Floyd also enjoys the company of other dogs — especially larger, confident female dogs who help him feel secure and balanced. Because he can be a bit anxious when left alone, a home with another steady canine companion is highly recommended. In his previous home, Floyd lived with cats, but he has shown some chase drive around them. Because of this, he may be able to live with a feline companion only with a confident, experienced handler who can manage proper introductions and set clear boundaries. Floyd is looking for a calm, patient home that will let him come out of his shell at his own pace and give him the comfort of consistency, companionship, and lots of love. In return, he’ll give you unwavering devotion and the best snuggles you’ve ever had. Call the Ranch today to schedule a meet-and-greet — Floyd is ready to find the person (or people) who will mean the world to him.
