Story
✨ Introducing Brooks ✨
Brooks is a 10-month-old English Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix, professional heart thief, part-time wrestler, and full-time good boy.
At around 60 lbs of blonde fluff, he arrives everywhere approximately 3 seconds before the rest of his fur does.
Brooks has been busy perfecting his résumé in foster care and currently boasts the following qualifications:
✔️ Walks nicely on leash
✔️ Knows basic commands
✔️ Crate trained
✔️ House trained
✔️ Excellent with dogs and cats
✔️ Expert-level butt scratch enthusiast
His hobbies include long walks, wrestling matches with his foster brother, supervising outdoor activities, and the wind in his hair
like he’s starring in an emotional dog-food commercial. After a hard day of adventures,
Brooks can usually be found curled up on the floor with his favorite toy or human, looking suspiciously angelic.
Now, before you get TOO distracted by the adorable floof and Disney-prince energy, Brooks would like it noted that he is still a teenager.
Which means his occasional life choices may include selective hearing, bursts of chaos, and moments where he forgets every single thing
he has ever learned. Thankfully, he’s incredibly smart, eager to learn, and already making huge progress with confidence and training
in foster care. Herding breed experience (or at least a willingness to research their wonderfully weird ways) is definitely a plus!
Brooks is looking for a patient, fun-loving forever human who understands that great dogs aren’t born — they’re lovingly shaped
through consistency, adventure, snacks, and approximately 4 million reminders to “leave it.” He is still cautious about new people (like many of us)
but with slow introductions he will soon having them rubbing his belly or giving butt scratches.
He’s up to date on everything and officially accepting applications for:
🏕 Adventure buddy
🚗 Passenger-seat copilot
🛋 Couch companion
❤️ Best friend for life
Seriously… how has nobody scooped up this majestic muppet yet?!
