Meet Phoebe! She has been described as energetic, playful, and loving! She is used to living outdoors and will need extra time to adjust to an indoor lifestyle. Due to she and her siblings being outdoor pups, they are not housetrained. Keeping them on a consistent schedule will help them get started. She has not met other dogs besides her littermates but has been curious of dogs passing by. She has not lived with cats or smaller animals, but she does have a prey drive. She has been around children around the ages of 5 years old and has been shy at first then friendly and playful. All introductions should be slow and proper when bringing home new animals. Ask staff for tips! She has been known to resource guard her food with her littermates. She may need to be fed separately if her new home has resident dogs. She would benefit from basic obedience training. Come meet her today! *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
