Story
Odin is 1yr old. Got him from a local farm when he was 10 weeks old. He is a large cuddling teddy bear that loves pets and to be close to his humans. Very sweet and gentle personality, is still in the puppy phase so has plenty of playful energy. He is well acclimated to other dogs, cats, adults and small children. He loves being outside and would do best with a larger lot or even acreage. Currently he is around 100lbs and is still growing. Both his parents were large dogs at over 120lbs. Being a large breed he is not yet neutered to allow for appropriate joint health growth.

Story
Hi, Rose here! Contrary to popular belief I’m actually from the South, but some may think I’m from St. Olaf Minnesota. My new furry roomies are nothing like Blanche and Dorothy, one acts more like Sophia with me. She gets pretty feisty when I invade her bubble, but I guess she’s teaching me a thing or two about life. I love late night pup treats and when my foster dad works strange hours, my furry foster siblings and I always hash out our life problems. I’m learning to potty outside and getting used to my crate, but I hear that’s normal for a girl my age. I’m 12 weeks old, 15 lbs, and a beautiful Anatolian Shepherd mix. I’m looking for a loving forever home where I’m able to be around my fur friends and humans often like a velcro dog. Hopefully I’m not out getting around for too long like Blanche, someone’s gotta tie me down! My adoption donation fee is $400 which covers my spay, microchip, puppy exam, up to date vaccines, etc. They say I’ll make a great addition to one lucky family! To apply for me, you can do so in the drop down menu on our website at: https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION AT: https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org/adoption-application We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals. We are a state licensed, 501c3 nonprofit rescue and the adoption donation may be tax deductible for you.  Thank you for choosing adoption!! May 25, 2024, 2:26 am

Story
Bia is a Great Pyrenees/ German Shepherd mix born on 1/13/2023. She was found in Texas with approximately 50 other dogs who had been left to fend for themselves. Bia was the lone survivor of her litter and with the help of various rescue partners, she made her way to Nebraska to start her new life! Bia loves outdoor adventures and will do great with an active owner or family. She likes kids but doesn't always understand her size and when she jumps it can be intimidating. Bia gets nervous around new people and recently had a hard time with a stranger in her house so we recommend an experienced owner with a training plan to help her overcome her fears and reactivity. She gets along with other dogs and doesn't mind playing rough. We think she would do great with having a "job" or skill such as agility training to keep her body and mind active. She is potty trained, kennel trained, and knows a couple of basic commands. The suggested adoption fee for Bia is $365. Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ Inc. is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption donation fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR will have been administered their age appropriate vaccines which may include DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already altered if of age, for those not of age, a voucher will be provided. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home. ##1689628##
