She LOVES to be loved on. She will demand to be petted. If you stop petting her, she will use her snoot to redirect your hand back to where it should be at all times, petting her and telling her how pretty of a girl she is.  Tillie is good with cats and with the right introduction good with dogs.  She has not been around kids.  Tillie is spayed and current on her vaccinations.  She does have an allergy to chicken.  Tillie can jump a short fence, she loves to chase a squirrel or two.  She loves her toys and sniffing walks.  She will keep you warm and night and make sure you never feel lonely.   Tillie's person loves her dearly but health issues have caused her not to be able to physically take care of her.   Her adoption fee is $100All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We are not a shelter with hours. A visit can be arranged after an adoption questionnaire has been filled out and sent in. Please try to email first. 3-And-A-Half-Years' Old Neutered Male German Shorthair Pointer/Pyranese Mix Dog He is very sweet and smart but high energy like a Jack Russell Terrier, and he looks like a giant one. He also resembles a Brittany Spaniel. He is chipped and neutered and has received monthly Heartworm and flea & tick prevention since he has been in my care for the last year and a half. He is current on vaccinations and is licensed in Omaha through NHS. Sodapop needs a yard and a patient, loving person to dote on him. Story
I found Arya when she was about 6 months old and she’s always been a little skittish around Men she doesn’t know but when she warms up to you she will be your shadow and when I first found her me and my family had plenty of time to take her for walks and to the park and play with her but due to changes in our lives we no longer have the time or ability to give her the amount of time and attention she needs she is currently just over a year old all I ask is that my girl goes to a good home she is a very loving dog and very very loving with children she plays great with other dogs she very rarely has accidents in the house it only happens when she gets super excited she will thrive if she has a large area to run and play

Good with dogs,
Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.German Shepherd dogs, as well as the other herding breeds that we have in rescue, are highly active, energetic, working breeds. They require considerable vetting, exercise, socialization, training, leadership and mental stimuli in order to be well-adjusted, well-balanced, and well-mannered dogs. Even if you exercise and play with your dog daily in your fenced yard, you MUST still take your dog out on daily walks and outings in order to work on his/her leash skills, manners, and social skills. These breeds make great additions to active families who will pamper them, but who will also work with them, as they are smart dogs who need leadership, structure, plenty of activity and mental stimulation. If you are new to German Shepherds (and other herding breeds), please research the breed to make sure this is the dog for you. We ask that you consider the time and financial commitment that your German Shepherd (or other herding breed) dog will require before applying for one. Please review the section on our website (www.heartlandgsrescue.org) 'Is a HUGS Dog Right for You?' for additional information.Meet Ollie (aka Ollie-Bear)! Ollie is a sweet and goofy 3-year-old German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix who’s ready to find his forever home! This big cuddle bug loves nothing more than snuggling up in bed with his foster mom, but he’s just as happy going for walks or enjoying a relaxing bath. Ollie has a playful, silly side too—he’ll lay right down in the pool on hot days to cool off, chew on squishy pillows like they’re the best toy in the world, and proudly show off his tricks like “shake” and “high-five.”  This lovable boy would do wonderfully in a home by himself (he loves the attention), or with other dogs to play with. If you’re looking for a loyal, mellow, and affectionate companion with a dash of goofiness, this lovely gentle giant just might be your perfect match. The adoption fee for Ollie is $275, all of which goes back into offseting our high-cost vetting expenses and rescuing more dogs.  We are a 100% volunteer-run rescue group and rely on adoption fees and donations to continue saving lives. Adoption fees include spay/neuter, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, fecal, deworming, flea/tick and heartworm preventative, heartworm tested if old enough (and treated if positive), and microchipped.  Please visit http://heartlandgsrescue.rescuegroups.org/info/adoption for more information about our adoption process and requirements, and to apply. Like any of our dogs, Ollie would make a great addition to an active home that will provide the love, structure, good leadership, activity and mental stimulation that his breed needs. Even if you exercise and play with your dog daily in your fenced yard, please remember that you MUST still take your dog out on daily walks and outings, in order to provide sufficient stimulation, ward off boredom, and work on leash skills, and manners.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please review the information in the 'About Us', 'Important Considerations' and 'Adopt' sections on our website menu, as it contains useful information about the breed, adoption fees, the adoption process and our requirements, and how meeting the dogs works.June 8, 2026, 4:41 pm

Story
Jasper is a Bernedoodle/Pit Bull mix born on December 16, 2023, and he’s still very much a puppy at heart! This handsome guy approaches life with enthusiasm, curiosity, and enough energy to keep things interesting.   Jasper loves having furry friends around and would be happiest in a home with another dog or even a cat to keep him company. He enjoys making friends, although he’s still working on the important life lesson that sharing toys is a good thing.   This smart boy already knows several commands, including sit, paw, and outside, and he’s eager to learn more—especially if treats are involved! Short, fun training sessions are the way to his heart. Jasper walks nicely on a leash and absolutely loves spending time outdoors. In fact, he loves adventures so much that he tends to view an open door as his personal invitation to go explore the world, so a secure fenced yard is a must.   Jasper’s dream home would include a big yard, plenty of playtime, and a family that enjoys an active lifestyle. As with many young dogs, he’s still working on his manners and occasionally forgets that not everyone appreciates his enthusiastic greetings. Because he can be a bit jumpy when excited, a home with very young children may need extra supervision while he continues learning.   This vocal, playful young fellow may not be the best fit for apartment living, but for the right family, he’ll be an incredibly fun, loyal companion. If you’re looking for a smart, goofy best friend who will keep you laughing, playing, and exploring, Jasper may be the missing piece your family has been waiting for.   The suggested adoption fee for Jasper is $365, Bullies-N-Beyond is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption donation fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR will have been administered their age appropriate vaccines which may include DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already altered if of age, for those not of age, a voucher will be provided. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home. ##2087431##

Story
Tobi is a very sweet 3 year old Bernese Mountain Dog that would thrive in a setting with a lot of attention and structure. I am unfortunately needing to rehome him because I am moving overseas due to work. He is crate trained and knows his basic commands, and would do well with an experienced owner that can really dedicate time to him as he is a fast learner and is eager to please. He does well around kids and especially large families that are able to shower him with the love he deserves. Tobi is neutered and gets along with other dogs. He has stayed in homes with cats and I have never heard anything that would indicate that he is not good with cats, however, I have never personally observed him around cats so I am not sure.
