You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.BaBu is a 4-year-old Akbash dog.  He is current on vaccinations and has been neutered.  He would make a good livestock protector and he needs a job.  He hears everything.  He is not one to make up to you easily. He has made up to a few of the volunteers, but not all of them.  He weighs 167 pounds.  He is a gentle giant, however kids should be cautious around him.  He is hesitant to trust and one must be patient with him.  However, when you have that trust he will let you know when he wants pets.  He is extremely keen and would make a great dog for protection.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 9:26 am
