Boomer is a rescue that I have had for four years. He and a full bred Pyrenees that I have get along well. I have a large property where he likes to roam. He is very sweet with almost anyone who visits me. Unfortunately he is very reactive which can lead to aggressive behaviors. This is particularly directed to my neighbors who can be very reactive towards him which leads to more aggression from him. He has never bitten anybody but based on witnessing his aggressive behavior, I cannot be confident that he might not bite somebody in these situations. This has led to confrontations with my neighbors who have called the police and the dog warden about him. The situation has become intolerable. I can no longer let him run free and must keep him restrained. I now accept that if he ever got loose when they are around, he might attack and bite one of them causing huge problems for him and liability problems for me. He will do well in a home with a family kids and dogs with a confined yard.

Except chickens!   HISTORY : Max (FKA Cottontail) was the biggest pup in Bunny’s litter and was raised using the Puppy Protocol with proper socialization. He was adopted by a wonderful family with other dogs, cats, kids and a farmette with chickens. He went to an office with the owners every day and enjoyed time with visitors between naps. Max enjoyed playtime until he met the few chickens that he could catch and play a bit rough with. The adopters thought it best to return him to us to find him another home.      PERSONALITY : Max is friendly, laid back, curious, brave and loving. He is very food motivated so he would be easy to train for any advanced tasks. He knows sit, paw, come (in his own time). He goes to a dog friendly office every day and is not reactive, sleeps, greets with a tail wag and is learning not to jump up and hug new friends.  FAVORITE ACTIVITIES : Meeting new friends, chewing all types of gullet sticks, antlers, kong, filled bones, treats and surgically removing squeakers from stuffies between naps.   MEDICAL ISSUES : NONE. Up to date on all vaccines.  Neutered, rear deux claws removed. Max has been exposed to all types of proteins with no issues. Like most dogs, consistent food keep his tummy happy.  He eats 2x per day. He is not a picky eater.  WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST KIND OF HOME : He would be best around his people and another dog. He has manners and is a gentleman but still needs some structure and guidance. He is still a puppy but a mature one. He would love to be active and have a job to do. Boredom is his nemesis. He enjoys a schedule and his naps. He loves riding In the car so would be a fabulous travel companion. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS : Max just had a first visit to the groomer and did well. Not a fan of the noises of the dryer or the cremel on his nails but, he would get used to it with more experience. He is shedding a bit now in the spring but has not been a big shedder like his Pyrenees momma. These include but are not limited to pull fees from shelters, veterinary examinations, vaccinations, medications and care, microchips, neuter/spay surgeries, heartworm treatments, behavior evaluations, and foster care, as needed. Important notes before applying. Approved adopters must have their primary residence in one of the following states: Delaware, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, and parts of North Carolina and Kentucky. I got Loki from a Pyrenees breeder. Loki's birthday is November 21, 2025. He's a very happy dog who loves attention. He loves to jump around and play, but I do not allow him to jump on people so he does know the difference. He loves his treats and his toys. Loki does great with other dogs and children. He was just introduced to a cat not long ago but he seemed to do okay. The cat was not a fan of him because Loki is pretty big and she's not used to big dogs.

Kovu is a very well-mannered gentleman! He prefers to keep to himself arround other dogs, but is very neutral! He likes to meet new people, and is all tail wags when approaching a new potential friend . Kovu walks really nicely on a leash! Maybe its his size, but he does a natural heel and keeps your pace amazingly! Dont feel like walking? Hes cool with that( he prefers that ) Hes definitely not a runner though , so he would be the perfect addition for someone looking for a large but low energy dog! Hes such a breeze to groom! He behaves perfectly for bathes/brushing/clippings and nail trims, and even does amazing with the blow dryer! He's never has accidents, and is kennel trained! Hell sleep calmly with out a peep!
