Story
Meet Goose, a truly beautiful dog with a huge heart. This gentle and dignified boy exudes an air of quiet intelligence and a calm, collected demeanor. Goose is a loving and affectionate companion. He loves snuggling and getting pets from everyone he meets. He knows how to sit and is a great walker on a leash. He doesn't seem to have experience with toys, but loves treats. He does very well at waiting until he goes outside to do his bathroom business, so may be housed trained. He has come in contact with our kennel cat and totally ignored her, so he may be OK with cats. He also seems fine with being around other dogs, but of course you would have to introduce him to your own cat or dog. You are welcome to bring your own dog to the kennel to meet him.. Goose is 2 years old and weighs 80 lbs., but is the perfect gentle giant! One kennel volunteer said Goose is "the best dog at the kennel!" If you're looking for a dog who is both a faithful friend and a source of unwavering affection and support, Goose may just be the perfect match for you. Come and meet him today—he can't wait to start the next chapter of his life with you by his side!

Story
Benny has been in my care for almost three months. I found him tied up to the handrail outside of my work. Animal control was full so I took him home with me. The vet estimates that he is around 10 months old. He is up to date on all of his shots, microchipped, and has been fixed. Benny is such a fun, sweet, energetic pup. He is eager to please, curious, and ready to meet his best friend. He is very loving and would want nothing more than to sit beside you on the couch, cuddle up in your bed, and walk beside you outdoors. He loves to play ball and chew on his bones. He has adjusted nicely to a schedule and sleeps well in his crate. He would love a home with a fenced in yard as he enjoys laying in the sun and smelling all the things. He also would do well with someone who is active and doesn't mind to spend time everyday to throw the ball with him. Rehoming fee covers his startup medical costs. He will come with a crate, bed, food bowls with stand and mat, toys, and food.
