Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.    Hi! My name is Cotton, though my foster mom also calls me Cotton Ball and Cotton Candy. She says I’m going to be a big girl when I grow up, but I already feel pretty grown up!   I love toys, especially the floppy ones I can carry around, toss in the air, and chase. I also LOVE other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine sibling to play with. Sometimes other dogs don’t want to play as much as I do, but I respect their space when they let me know they’re done.   I’m also very interested in cats. They’re kind of like little dogs, except they make funny hissing sounds and come with sharp claws! I enjoy being around them, but I don’t need a home with cats to be happy. Whether my future family has cats or not, I’ll be just fine.   My foster mom says I’m a Great Pyrenees, which means I’ll grow into a loyal and devoted companion. Great Pyrenees are known for watching over and protecting their families, so I like to use my voice when I think something needs attention. Because of that, I would probably be happiest in a home with a fenced yard rather than an apartment.   One important thing to know: chickens look an awful lot like floppy toys to me… and if you read the part about how much I love floppy toys, you’ll understand why a home without chickens would be best!   I’m a smart girl, too. I do great in my crate and already know sit, stay, and down. My foster family says I’m especially good at “down” when I get excited and want to jump up for attention. I’m affectionate, eager to please, and always ready for my next adventure.   If you’re looking for a loving, playful puppy who would enjoy a fenced yard, a dog friend, and a family to adore, I might be the perfect fit.fenced yard required   Love, Cotton   Medical Notes: Spayed Vaccinated Microchipped Heartworm Negative Maintained on monthly preventatives Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 24, 2026, 11:29 pm
