Name: Marco Age: DOB July 2025 Weight: 53 pounds Color: grey brindle/white Breed: DNA tested his brother, Great Pyrenees/hound mix Vaccines: up to date Altered: yes Heartworm Status: negative on prevention Energy Level: average House trained: yes Crate trained: yes but not crated routinely Dog friendly: yes great with others Cat friendly: his bff is a cat! Kid friendly: very friendly with kids Temperament: gentle, loving, laid back, sweet Adoption fee: 275 Available for adoption anywhere in the US and Canada with transport provided at no extra cost Currently located in Chesapeake VA Marco, Polo, and Scotty were apart of a pack in a forest in Texas just waiting for someone to help them. Their parents were rescued and we were lucky enough to be able to help these 3. They all have wonderful, low key, gentle personalities (especially for their young age). Marco had an "off" gait in his hind end. X rays showed one hip was out of socket and needed corrective surgery. He had FHO surgery completed April 3rd so his hip will grow a false joint to make things good as new! Unfortunately his other hip will need FHO corrective surgery as well but no worries once he is cleared that other hip will be all doctored up as well! He has healed nicely (had to have the one hip done twice unfortunately) which has pushed back the process of getting the other hip done.
