🐾 PEPPER 🐾 Pepper is a sweet, happy senior girl who loves people and enjoys being part of everyday life 💕 She has a big personality, loves to “talk,” and will always let you know when it’s time to eat — her favorite thing! 🥰 📅 Rescued January 11, 2021 Pepper and her boyfriend Stark were living on a mattress off a freeway truck stop for weeks before Christmas 2020. Multiple people tried to help them with no success. A rescue had committed but fell through, so we stepped in and brought them to safety. 🐶 ABOUT PEPPER • Estimated 10–12 years old (senior) • Friendly and loving with people • Dog-friendly and enjoys playtime • Very food motivated — she “hugs” her bowl when she eats 🥹 • Loves to “talk” and express herself • No longer bonded to Stark — ready for her own home • Doesn’t like going potty in her kennel → should transition well to house training • Smart and listens well • May try to explore at first, but settles with structure 🏡 IDEAL HOME Pepper would do best with an experienced owner, especially someone familiar with Akita-type personalities. Story
Queen has been with us since she was 6 weeks old. She was transported from Texas. She has grown up with our 6 grandchildren. She was fixed early on and had no children of her own. She likes walks and laying in the grass . Me the mom of the house, I work from home and she spends most of her day in the office with me or following me around the house if I stay gone to long. My husband takes her for a good walk around 6:30am almost every morning. Right now we have a really large back yard where she is able to explore. She goes outside for meals and water and for the most part stays outside until morning. She may scratch the door at night to come in. Queen did have a brother Thor most of her life but he had an accident and is no longer with her. The children love her and she usually tolerates them hugging and rubbing her but will get up and move if she doesn't feel like playing. An Akita that does not bark at everyone but knows when it is time to alert the family of a true stranger.

M - 4 years old - Siberian Husky Mix - This silly boy is full of energy, easily distracted, and lives for the zoomies, turning every yard into his personal playground. He’s the canine equivalent of an orange cat - lovably goofy, a little clueless at times, and endlessly entertaining! Pippin’s coat is gorgeous and needs regular grooming, but he’s a total trooper and does great with brushing, even when two people team up to tackle that fluff! Beneath all the hyper energy, he’s a sweet, affectionate boy who adores people and loves being part of the action. He’s incredibly loyal and will happily follow his people around like a shadow wherever they go. Pippin is also wonderful with kids and walks nicely enough that he won’t pull them around on leash. He enjoys the company of other dogs too, especially ones that are comfortable letting him take the lead in the relationship. This handsome goofball does have a bit of an adventurous side and is known to be an escape artist. He can dig or jump his way out of a yard if given the opportunity, so using a long-line runner while he adjusts to his new home and outdoor space will help keep him safe and secure. He’s looking for a family ready to embrace his silly antics, daily zoomies, and lots of love and attention. Pippin may be a handful at times, but his goofy charm, loyal heart, and loving personality make every moment with him a joy. ADOPT To adopt, come see us! M - 2 years old - Siberian Husky Mix - Fizz is proof that not every Husky mix is a whirlwind of chaos. This handsome young guy has that perfect balance of energy and manners that so many adopters are looking for. He's playful and enjoys being active, but he also knows how to settle down and focus on his people. One of the first things you'll notice about Fizz is how attentive he is. He enjoys learning, pays attention when you're working with him, and already knows several commands, including sit, down, and shake. He's the kind of dog who genuinely wants to engage with his person, making him a fun and rewarding companion. Fizz also appears to be potty trained, as he keeps his kennel clean and prefers to save his bathroom breaks for outside. Fizz is simply a sweet, lovable boy. He enjoys spending time with people, carries himself with a confidence that makes him easy to be around, and has found that sweet spot between playful and polite! He will need to be fostered by his new family prior to adopting so long as they're comfortable administering oral medications. He is currently taking an antibiotic for 30 days due to testing positive for two tick-born illnesses (Ehrlichia and Anaplasmosis). With the help of these meds, he will be on the road to recovery and soon be ready for his forever home! ADOPT To adopt, come see us! He doesn’t mind some playful company, but prefers when everyone keeps things calm and respectful. He’s vocal, expressive, and full of that classic Husky opinionated but good-natured personality. These days, his energy is winding down, and he’s happiest just hanging out, supervising the fun, and enjoying a nice breeze ruffling his fur.
