Story
Snoopy is a handsome boy looking for his loving family. He has striking looks and a big personality that is true to his Akita breed. His big paws and plush coat reflect the large, powerful dog that he will grow into. Snoopy will require an experienced dog owner who can set him up for success with training and socialization. He loves to play and his intelligence is obvious at a young age. Due to the breed traits of an Akita, he would likely do best in a single dog home. If he does go home with another dog, they are required to be female to prevent future conflicts. A handout will be provided that discusses the unique traits and needs of an Akita, and we recommend researching the breed to see if he will be a good match for his potential new home. Adoption Price: $400

Story
Oversized teddy bear seeks snuggle partner. Cuddly, smart, and eager to please, swipe right if you can handle this high energy heart with a soft side. Hatchi’s story is heartbreaking — he came into the shelter with his brother, but when their owner returned, they only took his brother… leaving Hatchi behind in a high-kill shelter. He soon found himself on the euthanasia list. Hatchi is now in a loving foster home and is looking for his forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and supported again. Hatchi does require eye drops daily for the remainder of his life. In our dream world, Hatchi would find a human that would help him feel confident and secure in a FINALLY stable environment.

Story
Courtesy Post – Rehoming Needed This dog is not at the shelter. Meet Ash – a sweet and playful 8-month-old female Akita/German Shepherd mix (white, tan, and black). &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Spayed/Neutered: No &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Vaccines: Current &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Potty trained: Yes &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Crate trained: Yes Ash was rescued from a tough situation and has been with her family for the past 6 months. Unfortunately, due to housing challenges, they are no longer able to keep her. Ash is a friendly, affectionate puppy who enjoys spending time with people and is good with children. She has lived with other dogs and is playful and social. While she hasn’t lived with cats, she has shown friendly behavior toward them. As a young, active mix of working breeds, Ash will do best with a family who can provide training, exercise, and structure as she grows. She is already crate and potty trained, making her a great start for someone ready to continue her care and development. If you are interested in adopting Ash, please contact her owner, Branin, directly: Phone: (916) 509-6842 Email: braninmartin@yahoo.com All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Look no further than Ginger Spice, a delightful pup currently seeking her forever home in Sacramento! Ginger Spice's journey began in foster care, where she was born into a loving environment. While her exact breed mix remains a mystery, we suspect she's a blend of Pyrenees and Husky, though her smaller stature suggests otherwise. Regardless of her heritage, she is a true gem waiting to bring joy to your home. One of Ginger Spice's most endearing qualities is her exceptional animal socialization skills. She has grown up surrounded by dogs and cats, making her a perfect fit for multi-pet households. Her friendly nature ensures that she'll get along swimmingly with furry friends of all shapes and sizes. Born on December 22nd, Spice is currently in a critical stage of development, making continued socialization a priority. Therefore, we're seeking a loving family who will dedicate themselves to providing her with ongoing socialization and training, ensuring she grows into a well-rounded and well-behaved canine companion. In addition to her vivacious personality, Ginger Spice is undeniably gorgeous. Her striking appearance, combined with her friendly demeanor and playful spirit, makes her utterly irresistible. Who could resist those puppy-dog eyes and that infectious grin? If you're ready to welcome a furry bundle of joy into your life, look no further than Spice. Whether you're going for a hike in the great outdoors or cuddling up on the couch for movie night, Spice will be right by your side, ready to fill your days with love, laughter, and endless adventures. Story
Looking for the perfect pick-me-up? Brown Sugar Oatmilk is a young boy who’s as warm, comforting, and sweet as your favorite café order. This gentle boy is brewed with love, sprinkled with curiosity, and topped with the creamiest personality you’ll ever meet. Just like his name, Brown Sugar Oatmilk has a naturally sweet nature. He’s a follow-your-nose kind of pup. When something smells interesting, he’s the first to stir things up and check it out. Whether it’s a whiff of adventure or a hint of treats, this little explorer is always ready to investigate with enthusiasm. When he’s excited, get ready for the full-body wiggle! This boy puts his whole heart (and whole self!) into showing his joy. It’s impossible not to smile when he does his signature Shepherd shimmy. Brown Sugar Oatmilk’s gentle temperament may be a good fit with children of any age, and he may also blend beautifully with other polite dogs after a nice, slow introduction - just like adding the perfect splash of oat milk to your morning brew! If you’re craving a loyal companion who brings warmth, charm, and sweetness into every moment, come meet Brown Sugar Oatmilk. One sniff, one wiggle, and he’ll perk your heart right up!Adoption Price: $250

Story
Meet Roxy, a spirited adult Husky with a joyous personality and a zest for life. Her playful nature is infectious and spreads smiles wherever she goes. Roxy`s energy is boundless which makes her the perfect companion for those who love outdoor adventures. She`s a natural swimmer and she`s always up for a romp through the sprinklers or a splash in the pool. True to her breed, Roxy is a bit of a chatterbox, but her vocal nature adds to her goofy charm. She can be an escape artist, so she needs a secure yard to safely explore and play in. Roxy`s friendly and loving personality makes her an incredible friend. Roxy is still learning how to share her favorite toys, so we recommend that any children in her new home are age 10 or older so they can understand her boundaries. She has also shown that she prefers to be your one and only, and does not enjoy the company of other dogs. We are requiring that she is the only dog in her new home so she can thrive. A consult with our Behavior team will be provided to discuss her individual needs. Adopt Roxy and let her fill your life with laughter, love, and endless games of fetch!Adoption Fee: $150
