Story
Oversized teddy bear seeks snuggle partner. Cuddly, smart, and eager to please, swipe right if you can handle this high energy heart with a soft side. Hatchi’s story is heartbreaking — he came into the shelter with his brother, but when their owner returned, they only took his brother… leaving Hatchi behind in a high-kill shelter. He soon found himself on the euthanasia list. Hatchi is now in a loving foster home and is looking for his forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and supported again. Hatchi does require eye drops daily for the remainder of his life. In our dream world, Hatchi would find a human that would help him feel confident and secure in a FINALLY stable environment.

Story
Barley is a survivor! This resilient boy has been through more than his fair share, including being on the euthanasia list TWICE, but thanks to the love of his foster family, he’s finally learning what it means to be safe, cared for, and happy. Barley's striking coat gets him noticed right away! He is a handsome brindle Dutch Shepherd/Akita mix who is around 4 years old. His sweet face and deep chocolate eyes hook passersby right away, but it takes a little bit of effort to win over his affection, and rightfully so, since he has been abandoned by owners multiple times. He loves a good squeaky toy, but may reject your attempts to win him over with treats. Now thriving in his foster home, Barley enjoys the simple pleasures—sniffing around the yard, playing with his foster human and dog siblings, and soaking in every bit of affection he can get. He gets along with other dogs and is learning that people can be kind and trustworthy. Barley cannot be in a home with small animals, especially chickens or cats, and should not be homed with small children since he is a bit unpredictable. He also needs to be in a home that is aware of his opportunist behaviors - like going through open doors or finding holes in fences. If he finds a spot, he turns into Forest Gump, and RUNS! Akitas are famous for their protective nature, and Barley has demonstrated some of these qualities...he is not fond of strangers in his house and should be kept tight on a leash when he is out and about. Barley would do best in a calm, understanding home with people who believe in second chances as much as he does. He doesn’t need perfection—just someone who will continue to help him grow and love him for who he is. Barley is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, and is microchipped.

Story
Bloop is a sweet, fun-loving boy with a big heart and a lot of love to give. He has a playful, curious personality and loves spending time with people who give him attention and affection. Bloop is a loyal companion who enjoys being part of daily activities and thrives on positive interactions. He is looking for a forever home where he will feel safe, loved, and part of the family, and where his adopters are patient and committed to helping him adjust to new experiences. Bloop may be a little anxious in new spaces; for this reason, we are requiring that any children in the home be 10 years old or older to help him adjust comfortably. He may also do well with other dogs, as long as introductions are slow and positive. If you already have a furry friend at home, a meet and greet at our facility will be required to ensure everyone is a great fit. Bloop thrives with structure, guidance, and plenty of mental and physical stimulation. He enjoys interactive puzzle toys, obedience training, trick games, and regular walks or play sessions. With love, patience, and enrichment, Bloop can blossom into a playful, affectionate, and loyal companion. Bloop is ready to find someone who will help him shine and share all the love he has to give.Adoption Price: $250

Story
Nomad is a husky mix. We don't know who his father was, but it was suspected he is part Australian Shepard or Australian Kelpie due to his coat and herding tendency. He is a sweet dog, who loves going for walks, playing tug-of-war and sleeping with a pillow. He is special needs and has been blind for around 2 years. We don't want to give him up, but because of his special needs we cannot give him the attention and best care that needs. He also has separation anxiety and cannot be left alone. He also tends to get very anxious at night because of his blindness. He has a poultry allergy. He used to go to the dog park all the time and was well socialized since puppyhood before he became blind. He hasn't been around other dogs in the last 2-3 years so we do not know how he will do. We hope that someone can give him a better home for him, as ours just isn't a good place for him anymore. Oh also, he knows sit, stay, lay down, paw, play dead and is trained to go potty outside.
