Story
Sky is about 1.5 years old and she’s had a rough start to life but is much better now and looking for a loving family. Just guessing but we think she is part husky – on the small side – german shepherd dog and terrier. Sky needs some work with her confidence, so she needs a patient family with no young kids to grow. Sky was found living on the streets in south Texas and sadly that life teaches a dog to always be on the lookout for harmful things. Sky was diagnosed with an immune disorder but can easily be managed with a small pill each month which is not expensive at all. She would thrive with another male dog buddy but can also be the only pet, no cats for this kiddo. If you are interested in our sweet girl, please submit your app - https://allmixedupdogrescue.org/

Story
Chloe is a bit over 1 year old and she is finally healthy enough to start the hunt for her forever family. She is only about 40ish pounds, but her DNA says she is a mix of GSD, cattle dog and husky, which would explain her singing. We are not sure of her past, but we do know it was not good. What we know about this girl is that she is shy, timid and will need a patient owner to help bring her out of her shell. She does like dogs, but she is a little awkward with them. If they are calm pups, she will start to play but once they play back, she gets defensive. Probably due to being attacked by other dogs while living on the streets with no one to protect her. We think she will thrive in a home as the only pet with a person who can help show her that life is good and someone who will give her all the attention she missed out on. She enjoys car rides but walks away from home are a bit scary. She likes to be close to you. She is housetrained, calm in her kennel and has good house manners. Occasionally she will pick up a toy but playing is something she will need to learn how to do.
