Our wonderful Akita, Bo, needs a new home due to our current situation. We are so sad to let him go but have limited options. He is very friendly, well socialized, and grew up around other dogs and our cats. He is calm and great tempered, no aggression at all toward other dogs or people. Hes very gentle and incredibly smart. He does know how to open sliding doors and does it when he wants to go outside or come back inside (we have a fenced yard He is not neutered but is up to date on shots. He will go to his new home with a goody bag, which includes his vaccine record and week worth of food.

Athena is recommended for a family without children or with kids at least 10 years of age, and if considered for a multi-dog household, a meet at the shelter will be required prior to departure to be sure that Athena is relaxed and open to her new friend. He is learning to come when called and sits nicely when prompted. He is a homebody at heart, but he still needs plenty of exercise to burn off his occasional bursts of energy.
