Story
Hi, I'm Crow. I came from a shelter in Alabama, and I'll always be grateful that Big Dog Ranch Rescue made room for me. As an adult black dog, I know I'm often overlooked, but the people here saw something worth saving—they saw me. Since arriving at the ranch, I've received all the medical care, love, and affection a dog could ask for. The staff has spent time helping me grow into the best companion I can be. I've learned to walk nicely on a leash, share with others, and trust that people can be kind. Big Dog Ranch has been an incredible place to heal, but what I dream about every day isn't another kennel—it's a home of my own. I dream of a soft bed, a family waiting for me at the end of the day, and someone to love for the rest of my life. The staff has given me all the tools I need to be a wonderful companion. Now I just need one thing they can't give me—a family willing to take a chance on me. Please don't pass me by because I'm an adult or because my coat is black. Look into my eyes, and you'll see a loyal heart that's just waiting to belong. Can you be the family I've been hoping for? With love, Crow 🐾

Story
Meet Enoch, a traditional Husky-type dog with a huge personality and an even bigger zest for life. This handsome boy has all the classic Husky charm: bold, energetic, stubborn, and unbelievably endearing. Enoch is a rough and rowdy player who throws his whole heart (and body!) into playtime. Whether he’s wrestling, zooming, or inventing his own games, he’s always ready for action and would thrive in a busy, active home that can keep up with his adventurous spirit. Food? He loves it. Life? He loves it even more. Enoch approaches everything with enthusiasm, from mealtime to mischief. He’s smart, expressive, and hilariously vocal—a dog who will happily “talk back” and tell you exactly how he feels about… well, everything. Yes, he’s a bit stubborn, but he’s also irresistibly cute, full of character, and overflowing with affection. With structure, exercise, and a sense of humor, Enoch will be the most entertaining companion you could ask for. If you’re ready for a spirited, talkative, food-loving best friend, Enoch is waiting to bring joy—and plenty of laughter—into your home

Story
Jack is ready for his forever home! He is currently in boarding with one of our trainers in Orlando area! He has completed 3-4 months of behavioral training, and we are looking forward to a strong, dedicated, and patient husky experienced home for him! Jack is 2 years old, and he is both dog friendly and cat friendly!! He sadly had a rough start to life and has been bounced around a lot his first two years of life. Because of this he can be anxious in a new home and he needs a consistent to properly adjust. He was returned due to guarding issues with high value items like bones and food in the crate occasionally, so we have worked on that with behavioral training. Jack is super smart and receptive to his training commands! We will provide 2-3 FREE training lessons to whoever adopts him to ensure success with a lifetime of support. He is crate trained, potty trained, and he knows many commands like sit, come, stay, place, heel, and leave it. He is very affectionate and sweet once he creates a mutual bond with you! He is an active husky who would thrive in a home who will take him on long walks and he can even bike next to you! He enjoys fetch and playing in the backyard!! We are looking for a strong home who can be consistent with his training! He is super smart and very sweet but he does have his quirks which we have worked on for over 6 months. He rarely guards now and if he does it is only in his crate. Because of this we need a husky experienced home with no kids for him!

Story
We have had him fully professionally trained due to guarding high valued items like a dead iguana, and he is ready for his forever home. He thrives in a consistent routine, and we really want him to go to a home with another husky in the home to bond with. He needs a home who can provide consistency, keep up with his training commands, and provide tons of exercise. Shadow absolutely did amazing with his training, and he is super smart. He listens to his commands super well, and even though he loves to be active he also can be very chill throughout the day. He is the perfect balance of spurts of energy, and then very chill and snuggly. He has excellent leash manners, he has very good recall, and he knows many commands like sit, down, place, stay, heel, and leave it. His trainer also took a lot of time to desensitize prey and correct him if he gets hyper focused on a prey driven animal when on a walk. Shadow is smart but he can also be stubborn. . He needs a strong owner who can provide mutual respect, continue his training commands, and set boundaries. He can be a really great loyal dog for a husky experienced owner! He is so well behaved in the car, and he would make a perfect travel or hiking buddy. Shadow is super dog friendly, he gets along with all dogs. He enjoys companionship of other dogs and he is used to being in group play at doggy daycare and he does great at dog parks! Shadow is even cat friendly, he ignores cats completely. He is a velcro type husky who will want to follow you and be near you! Shadow is not toy possessive, and in fact his favorite activity is fetch, and he even throws it back to you. Shadow is also a swimmer so if you have a pool it is a huge plus or he would love to go to the beach or other swimming parks! He would thrive in an active home who can take him on daily walks and adventures! We are looking for a strong husky experienced home for him who can provide structure, create mutual respect, and has no small children. Shadow would love to go to a home with another husky to bond with, he has no separation anxiety as long as he is home alone with another dog, so another husky is a MUST for him to adjust. He is 6 years old. He is potty trained, fully trained, and non destructive. We will provide 2-3 FREE training lessons to whoever adopts him, and a lifetime of training support!
