Last of an accidental litter. He's a good dog, but he needs someone that can give him attention and training. He's a very sweet, giant pup that just wants to play. He likes being outside or in the house; would make a great farm or livestock dog. Also would do well with a family with kids to play with as long as they are big enough to handle a pup that doesn't realize how big he is! Has had his puppy shots for parvo/etc but nothing else. Breed: Alaskan Malamute (large breed)Age: 6 years- 6 monthsWeight: 74 lbsSex: Neutered Male Wolfie was surrendered to the rescue because his owners were required to do so. Wolfie and his sister got out one to many times and went after the neighbors chickens. Wolfie has lived with both dogs his size and smaller and done well if he can assume the dominant role with the other animals. He has done best with dogs younger than him and non-dominant females. He likes to walk and needs a strong person to do so. He is a husky so he is a “talker” as most huskies tend to be and a bit mischievous! He needs an active family and a privacy fence yard.

Onyx is a case of a dog/ owner mismatch. He is a good dog, very intelligent, playful and great for kids. He needs a family that can give him more attention and allow him to exercise. Currently he has some behavior that seems spiteful, however, dogs aren't spiteful his needs just aren't being met due to our busy lifestyle.
