Story
Onyx is a case of a dog/ owner mismatch. He is a good dog, very intelligent, playful and great for kids. He needs a family that can give him more attention and allow him to exercise. Currently he has some behavior that seems spiteful, however, dogs aren't spiteful his needs just aren't being met due to our busy lifestyle.

Story
This is Bonnie!! She’s a super sweet girl who needs room to run and more attention than I can give her unfortunately since I started a new job. I adopted her at 12 weeks almost 3 years ago. She’s very good with children. I call her mama dog because she is protective of my boys. I have a cat who she loves to play with as well. She would do well in a home with a fenced in yard that she could run and get all her energy out. She’s very loving and loves to cuddle.

Story
Max is approximately three years old. He belonged to my brother who got him as a puppy. My brother recently passed away and we are not able to keep Max. He has had good veterinary care his whole life. He is a healthy, friendly pooch. Due to my brothers illness, Max has spent the past year as an outside dog. My brother, John, had a large (almost half acre) fenced-in back yard so Max had plenty of room to roam. The neighbor’s little Jack Russell would find his way in the fence and they would romp and play. I have a dozen grandchildren and Max loves to play with them. My six year old granddaughter adores Max and runs him all around the yard. He is never mean, he is very smart and really needs a family to spend time with him. He used to be a house dog so it will take no time to remind him of his manners. He wants to please you. In return, he just wants to be loved.

Story
Breed: Alaskan Malamute (large breed)Age: 6 years- 6 monthsWeight: 74 lbsSex: Neutered Male Wolfie was surrendered to the rescue because his owners were required to do so. Wolfie and his sister got out one to many times and went after the neighbors chickens. Wolfie has lived with both dogs his size and smaller and done well if he can assume the dominant role with the other animals. He has done best with dogs younger than him and non-dominant females. He likes to walk and needs a strong person to do so. He is a husky so he is a “talker” as most huskies tend to be and a bit mischievous! He needs an active family and a privacy fence yard.

Story
SNICKERS NEEDS A NEW HOME. Snickers is a beautiful, 4 year old female, mixed-breed w velvety soft fur. She’s spayed, microchipped, up to date with shots, fully house trained, very loving & obedient. Snickers owner is 86 yrs old and has had several recent health issues w extended hospital stays. Although heartbroken, she knows she can no longer care for her sweet Snickers. Snickers enjoys a good game of fetch and tackling empty plastic water bottles (so funny to watch). She loves chasing squirrels, playing in ponds/lakes, walks in the park and cuddles in bed. Snickers is temporarily staying at a friend’s house, but gets into fights w a small Yorkie. Snickers cannot stay and needs to be re-homed immediately. She a wonderful, loving companion and a fearless protector! Please help find a loving home for this beautiful girl - I’m so worried something tragic will happen.
