Story
Clark Kent was pulled from a euthanasia list at a shelter outside of Marion Co. While we are not normally able to do this, a lot of stars aligned for this lucky dog. He is approximately 2 years old and an Akita mix. He is 56 lbs. Clark Kent was on the euthanasia list because he was suffering from very high kennel stress, and it was affecting his quality of life. He is currently living at a daycare facility and doing very well. Clark is a very sweet dog and also does well with other dogs. He has a lot of energy, so we are looking for a home where he can be active. We are also looking for a home where owners are either home frequently or where he will NOT go long periods of time in a crate. He would also do best in a home that has a fenced-in yard. Clark is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $200.

Story
Chance is a 2 year old Akita/mix and 100% good boy! This special boy is absolutely perfect in every way. He is housebroken, great with all dogs, good with cats, and he LOVES children. Chance is playful and energetic, but never "rude. He is also very sweet and affectionate, he loves to sit with you on the couch for movie night! Chance's story is quite heartbreaking. He was found extremely emaciated and on the brink of death! We can not figure out why someone would do this to this dog. Luckily, when Chance came into our care we got him into an experienced foster home. This amazing family has been able to nurse him back to health and allowed him to blossom and show what a perfect dog he is! Chance is fully vetted, microchipped, and ready to make one special family VERY lucky! Chance is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Laser does best with very high energy level dogs that can give him corrections. Would do best with other high energy huskies in a home. He's your typical husky so he's a natural escape artist.

Story
This is my baby Draco. It hurts to have to post this but I do. I am finally moving out of a bust down one bedroom apartment, and they will only let me take one of my dogs and I have to say she’s a service dog . My mom first adopted Draco when I was 15. She left him with her ex friend for around a year a half about 2 years after we had him. He was neglected and abused. He ended back up at the shelter and I was able to claim him. My original intent was to rehome him but I held on to him. But now that I can only take one dog I have to. He is a funny quirky loveable boy. He has bronchitis from allergies and needs to be given Benadryl twice a day to help him. I just recently took him to the vet where they told me this. He coughs, hacks, and wheezes but hopefully this will get better once he is on the Benadryl for a little bit. I would also please ask you take him to your vet and see what they recommend. Before adopting I will want to do a home visit and introductions between any other anim

Story
I was given this dog from a friend who had it for some years. I am looking for him to go to a home that will truly love him. Truly love him as have him preferably as an only dog to have time to play with him, walk him, and overall have a space for him with a big fence because he is an escape master. A home where he can run free and not be tied up all day! To my knowledge he will need medical attention due to having a bad scar near his butt. He is very well trained and loves to cuddle and roll around in the mud and grass.
