Story
Freddy (3yrs) is an amazing companion and extremely loving. Because of his breed, he needs a home that can give enough space for him to run around and get his exercise. He loves playing with his favorite ball and walks around with it like a comfort blanket. He randomly brings his toy as an offering/gift to you at times, its hilarious! I dont wish to leave him behind, but unfortunately Im leaving the country soon and he cant come with us. I can only do my best to give him a good home. Akitas are very loyal so I believe that if you need a life companion then he will never leave your side. Fred needs a family that is familiar with the akita breed, in order to insure that he going to capable hands. He is cute, but he is a life commitment at a whopping 75 lbs. (breed is known to be big) I dont believe I have seen aggressive behavior in him. He has a big bark (as any akita should), but is harmless unless you are a plush toy (his ultimate nemesis! *He shows signs of separation anxiety!

Story
My name is Cooper. I'm the best boy. I sit, I lay down, I stay, I shake. I am potty trained, kennel trained, and enthusiastic about life. I am NOT an escape artist and I am respectful of boundaries. I don't want to be a statistic, my breed mix isn't known for quick adoption rates. I am likely some sort of Akita/Husky/Chow/Malamute mix. There may be some splashes of shepherd in there too. I am smart, I am loyal, and I promise to be your best friend if you give me a chance. I am dog friendly with most all small dogs and large female dogs, but I don't enjoy sharing my home with other large males. Being dog selective means I will have an extremely hard time finding my forever family. A home as an only dog would be ideal for me as I do prefer all the attention but a sister or a small brother might be okay too. I like kids, they seem to like me too. I am really good at teaching children how to give me treats. I offer my paw when they have food so that they have to pay the "tax for me shaking their hand. It's a really good system I have worked out and I'll turn your kids in to true junior dog trainers in no time. I do have a seizure disorder that requires medication once a day and it's pretty cheap. It will cost you about $30 each month *but* I promise to save you money in other ways! (You won't need a personal trainer I love to go on walks, and you won't need a security system because I will stay by your side when your home and watch the house while you're gone) I really love to cuddle. And your presence and reassurance when I'm having a seizure would make me feel a lot better. I like to rest afterwards and be wrapped in a blanket. I want a family so badly. I dream about one every night and I think about my future life all day.

Story
I picked up EF09 who was on death row at the Wichita Animal Shelter recently. She is now named "Maisy...despite the fact our home is currently full. We couldn't take in another dog for the time being, but we did...because I couldn't let her be put to sleep for her age. We are living in scary times right now with people discarding unwanted pets and turning them loose. So here she is. Maisy...walking from the shadows of death into the light of life. She still isn't a fan of other dogs ans is learning to trust us on her own terms. Maiya just wants to lay on the couch. We will update you more on her personality as we get to know her.

Story
Ringo is a big ole lovable goof ball! He doesn't realize his size and thinks he is a lapdog. He listens really well and knows how to sit for his food. He really loves food. He is great with other dogs and is fine with cats. He loves kids and despite his ginormous size, he is quite gentle with kids. He loves the snow and cold weather. Honestly, there isn't much that Ringo doesn't love. He is one of the happiest dogs!
