Meet Cassie 🐾 Cassie is an absolute sweetheart! She is highly motivated by treats, praise, and other dogs. Cassie rarely barks and usually only does so if she’s feeling unsure about something new. Cassie goes into her crate on command and is fully house trained, with no accidents. She will let you know she needs to go out by going to the door and giving a soft whine. She listens very well and reliably comes when her name is called. Cassie walks nicely on a leash without pulling. Cassie enjoys the company of other dogs and is respectful to the cats in her foster home. She would love to have a canine friend in her forever home! She is calm and content on her own, but her playful puppy energy really shines when she has another dog to play with (she could happily play for hours!) ***This dog is being housed at the Rochester Animal Control facility. In order to meet him, you need to fill out an adoption application first. These can be found on the homepage of the Paws and Claws Humane Society Website. Once you submit your application, a staff member will reach out with next steps.***Meet Thane... pronounced `Taw-nee`.This older girl found her way to the Rochester Animal Control when her owner sadly passed away and she had no where else to go. Thane is a 9 and a half year old husky and weighs about 66 pounds. Her ideal home would be one where her people are home often or when they do leave, take her with them. She gets nervous and stressed when she is alone for long periods as she just misses her people!Thane is on the older side and has some mild discomfort in her hips and back. A single level home or a home with limited stairs would be the best for her. Even though she is considered a senior, she still has plenty of spunk and energy left in her! She would love to be able to go on walks with her family or explore a backyard. If you think your home is well suited for Thane, apply online today!Adoption fee is $350 + $30 microchip fee + tax
