Meet Whiskey, URGENT SWEET BOY NEEDS A GERO AND A SECOND CHANCE! WHISKEY (A418812) ** Whiskey was previously adopted and is back with us due to not being well cared for. He came back as a cruelty case, and is now searching for a family to truly love, cherish, and care for him. Meet Whiskey! He is a good looking fella who is ready to steal your heart with his sweet doggy charm. Whiskey is a neutered Akita mix. He weighs 56 pounds and is heartworm negative. They noted Whiskey is good with other dogs and kids of all ages. He does not care for cats. They say he is house and crate trained and is an indoor dog. He enjoys going on walks, car rides, and playing with toys. He loves treats, and playing with hard chew toys. Whiskey hangs out at his kennel door. He likes to greet you with tail wags and occasionally a friendly bark. It's just his way of saying come see me and take me home. He is pretty calm inside and out of his kennel. He lays right at the front of his kennel door waiting for you to stop and say hello. Whiskey has good leash manners, he walked right along beside me and was easy to walk. As you can see he was a good model for his pics and was happy and well behaved. Whiskey took treats gently and he gave kisses to say thank you. He a friendly guy and he enjoys your company. He has adorable speckled paws and a speckled chest that make him even more striking and unique. He is in the foster home where he was born in Houston, Texas, and can transport to the Petfinder-listed city once an adopter has completed our screening process, virtual home visit, and reference checks. Charming, confident, and full of heart — just like his namesake! Sean Connery is a sweet, social puppy who loves to play with his siblings (but not in an over-the-top way). He’s affectionate, loves giving kisses, and enjoys being near his people. While he can be nervous at first, he warms up quickly with gentle introductions and reassurance. Sean hasn’t been around children yet, but we expect he will do well with kids who are respectful of a dog’s boundaries. We have no history with cats. Sean has been introduced to a crate and is working on his potty training routine. He’s a smart, eager-to-please boy already showing great obedience for his age, but like all puppies, he’ll need continued guidance as he grows — leash walking, manners, and a consistent daily routine will help him thrive. Because he’s still so young, we’re looking for a home where someone is home more often than they are away — puppies truly flourish with time, structure, and companionship. He is in a foster home in SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS and is able to transport to a city listed on Petfinder once approved. Please note our process starts with an application. Meet Duke — a long-legged, lively pup who was rescued from a shelter in San Antonio, Texas! Duke is full of puppy energy and curiosity. He loves to run, explore, and play with other dogs.
