Kyro, our 18 month old Akita is searching for his forever home! Now is the perfect time to get him into a family that we know he will be so loyal to. He’s a neutered male who weighed 74lbs a couple weeks ago but has some room to grow still. He is vaccinated, microchipped, negative for heart worm and tick borne diseases. Now that we have his basic facts out of the way, let’s get to what his perfect home looks like! The best home for Kyro is one who is familiar with or at minimum, does research and gets to know the breed. Maybe you’re someone who is allergic to cats and could never have one, but could go for a cat-like dog in a larger body? That’s Kyro for you! While he can’t live with cats (or squirrels!), he will play and act like one. He’s good for some drive by attention. Give him some pets and he’ll be off on his way to continue exploring. He may even entertain himself with his toys while you’re doing stuff around the house. He super loves balls so bonus points for keeping those in the house! Later on he’ll lovingly watch you from the window if you dared to go outside without him. Big perk of him not actually being a cat? He goes to the bathroom outside! 100% of the time as he loves having a clean and tidy kennel. There’s also no risk of him scratching up your favorite ottoman or walking on your kitchen table since again he’s an Akita, not A-Kitty. The dog part of his personality does have a request. It’s quite simple though, in that he’d prefer a dog friend to be of the lady variety. He can be a bit of the rough and tumble type when it comes to playtime with dogs, so just make note of that! With her athletic build, she's always down for a run around the yard, and she's just waiting for someone to give her all the pets and love she deserves. Although Sparky is a bit unsure about other dogs and cats, she's a people person through and through! She would do best in an adult-only home where she can be the center of attention. Prefer fenced in yard. Sparky is a wonderful companion, and she can't wait to meet you! Sparky is 1 year old, current with vaccinations and spayed. Like his Star Wars character, Greedo is a comic! His unique look (but very handsome indeed!) coupled with his personality makes him a hot commodity! He is silly and entertaining. He will make you laugh and forget the bad day you just had. Saying his name or telling him he is a good boy is enough to send him dancing :) He tippy taps his feet, so cute! If you tippy tap with him, he will break out in zoomies :) Fact: Zoomies are a sign of happiness, so this makes us very happy to see him happy at even the slightest of engagement! Greedo loves being outside. He gets super excited when you take him outside. Sometimes, he goes straight into zoomies. Needless to say, he isn’t a very good walker, at least not the initial part of the walk. He is too excited to focus on his walk. Tip - let him get his zoomies out of the way first then he'll be yours for the walk! Off leash in a confined area, Greedo loves to run. He tries to beat the speed of wind. He says if you want to be a good bounty hunter, you must be fast. Even in the rain, he runs fast. Rain doesn’t bother him. Greedo takes his job very seriously! All that said about him, Greedo does have chill qualities and is super sweet and loving. He melts into you if you cradle him. He looks at you adoringly and will offer up a kiss or two :)  Greedo is a year old, 34lb Husky mix. He is looking for an active home where there is an abundance of outside activities. A runner in the family would be ideal for him. He also need a human cuddler in the family as Greedo is super sweet and loving. He loves everyone he meets. Greedo is house and crate trained.
