With her athletic build, she's always down for a run around the yard, and she's just waiting for someone to give her all the pets and love she deserves. Although Sparky is a bit unsure about other dogs and cats, she's a people person through and through! She would do best in an adult-only home where she can be the center of attention. Prefer fenced in yard. Sparky is a wonderful companion, and she can't wait to meet you! Sparky is 1 year old, current with vaccinations and spayed. While she may be a bit reserved at first, that’s just because Juniper likes to take her time getting to know new people and surroundings. She truly blossoms with patience, and once she feels safe and comfortable, her sweet and affectionate personality begins to shine through.Juniper would do best in a calm, predictable home where her adopter understands that building trust is a process. She appreciates a slower pace and enjoys having a safe space to retreat to when she needs a break. Because of her sensitive nature, we are recommending a home with children ages 13 and older who can respect her boundaries and give her the space she needs to feel secure. When it comes to other animals, Juniper has shown that she may be uncomfortable around other dogs and would likely prefer to be the only dog in her forever home, where she can soak up all the attention. At just 1.6 years old, I’ve already figured out that life is a whole lot better when you meet it with a calm spirit and a friendly face. I’m a gentle giant at 87 pounds, with striking good looks and a warm, steady presence that makes people feel at ease. I came in as a stray after being hit by a car, but the vet says I was just a little sore and there was nothing permanent. I’ve bounced right back and I’m ready for the happy part of my story. I do well in play group, I’m good with dogs and cats, and my buddy Denice is one of my favorite pals. I’m an easygoing guy with a medium energy level, which means I’m up for fun but I also know how to relax. I’d love a home where I can be your loyal sidekick, head out for a walk, then come back and enjoy some quiet time by your side.
