Dakota is a handsome name, kind of a "rugged" kind of name, right?? I am kind of a REFINED RUGGED kind of boy! NOT!! I am a snuggle bug looking for tummy scratches....I willl MELT for one!! Here is what one of our amazing fosters have to say about Dakota...."Super freaking sweet, loves loves belly rubs, is very strong when you walk him but listens well. VERY treat motivated and knows sit down paw and i just taught him roll over yesterday but its a work in progress 😝. Super playful, he will pounce around you and then roll over for belly rubs and absolutely melts for the belly rubs and kisses" I love playing and running with my doggy friends, however, I can lay at your feet very sweetly to beg for your attention. I am kind of like a "reverse" planter as well. I mean, you plant it and i will un-plant it for you :D I won't do it often, just when I want your attention and I am outside alone. So see?? you have great control over that urge! So I am a food and toy lover too, I eat out of a slow feeder bowl because wolfing down my food is not an option! I am learning all things toys and am actually learning how to bring the ball BACK after you throw it. I am a smart and very sweet boy. I do absolutely have a prey drive so no kitties for small furry mammals around me please. I am fully potty trained and great in a crate. Now i just need you to adopt me to complete my circle of life. Now, before you go all "Lion King" on me, just know that I will be your bestest buddy forever!! I am two VERY loyal breeds and once I know you are my family, you will have my unending love :) Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

She ended up on our property after my husband’s neighbor was sent to prison and left her behind. -About Miska: She’s a very sweet girl overall She does show food aggression if people mess with her food We unfortunately can’t keep her because we have other animals and small children at home -We want to make sure she goes to a place that understands the breed and can give her the right environment. If you have space or any suggestions for other Akita-specific rescues, we’d really appreciate your help.

Lizzy is an adorable husky, lab mix who is super loyal & a bit of a diva.She is 7 yrs old, I raised her as a rescue pup. She's loved by everyone who meets her.She is an excellent companion.Lizzy would do best with adults/teens. No cats, no dogs, no other animals, no children. Lizzy has a high prey instinct & will go after other animals. She should be socialized leashed.She's leery with new men until she gets to know them. But she's quick to bond and she LOVES people. She loves having visitors over to the house and getting pets from everyone.Lizzy is okay with controlled limited contact w/ other dogs but shouldn't live with other dogs.She loves walks, doing tricks for treats & being close & hanging out with people. She loves her crate, she needs that space that is just hers to go to when she wants some alone time.Doesn't like cuddles but likes closeness. Loves belly rubs. Rarely barks. Doesn't like being outside too long. Indoor dog. Good guard dog. Needs some exercise few times a week.
