Story
Orange you glad to meet POLLY BANANA? Polly Banana is a 1-year-old Akita mix with a gentle demeanor and a personality as sweet as fruit salad. Polly can be a little shy of new friends initially, but after a few minutes of warming up, she'll melt into you, resting her head against you as if to say, "please, could you scratch behind my ears?" Polly Banana lived successfully with cats in her previous home and may enjoy a dog-savvy feline friend if given a slow and careful introduction. She can be a bit bashful when it comes to unfamiliar dogs, but may enjoy a calm canine companion with a proper introduction. Polly would "berry" much like to meet you! Get to know her today at the Humane Society of Utah and see if this Banana is the apple of your eye!

Story
Luna is a 5½-year-old dog who I love with my entire heart. She was brought her home when I was 14, and while I explained we weren’t ready for the responsibility, she has been my best friend ever since I am now a full-time college student living on campus and can no longer give her the life she deserves. Luna has always been an outdoor dog, but she needs a home where she can live indoors, especially during the hot summers. She gets older and the heat is getting dangerous for her to be out She is incredibly smart, loyal, loving, and protective of her family. She can take a little time to warm up to new people but is very sweet once she does. She has always done well with children. Luna would do best as the only pet, as she does not get along with other dogs or animals. She is not potty trained for indoor living but is very clean and only uses specific areas of the yard. I am looking for someone who will love her as much as I do and give her the indoor home and attention she deserves.
