Story
Chief! This year and 2 year old boy is just about as regal as they come.. some moments, then others? Well, let's just say he's no stranger to the goofy hops, leaps, and bounds, it is seriously adorable watching this big old 65 pound boy get down for some fun! But those fun times come with lottttsss of rest afterwards, he's essentially just one huge puppy; without mentioning his soft, plush coat. Chief loves all people! He's the type to follow his people around like a shadow, as you'd expect, but I think he has an independent side to him as well! Moreover, Chief gets along well with most other dogs, but would do best in a home without cats. Chief's favorite time of the day is either going for walks, playtime, or snuggling up on our meet & greet futon. He's a boy of all trades, this one, and we love him for it! Chief knows all the basic commands, leash walking, and crate-training you might ever need! We know he will flourish in most loving homes, especially those with the benefit of prior knowledge and experience with Akitas.

I recently adopted Tipper, but unfortunately does not get along with our cats' personalities. He is currently 3 ½ years old and needs shots for this year. He is very high energy and loves to cuddle. I think he would do best with a family that can walk him every day, as he needs a lot of enrichment.
