If there’s one thing our animals remind us of every day, it’s just how resilient they are. Toasty came to the shelter on September 20th as an injured stray. After further evaluation, it was determined she had a CCL tear that required surgery. Thanks to the incredible care she received, Toasty was finally able to get the surgery she needed to live a happy, pain-free life.She has been recovering beautifully and is currently enjoying the comforts of her foster home — but we all know that nothing compares to a loving forever home of her own. If you are interested in meeting Toasty, please call to schedule an appointment so we can coordinate with her foster!Toasty has proven to be a very smart girl! She is potty trained, does well in a crate, and is learning her basic cues. She’s young, energetic, and happiest when both her brain and body are kept busy. She enjoys a good game of fetch and is more than happy to sniff out all the goodies stuffed kongs have to offer! Toasty enjoys playing with other dogs; we can always provide a dog meet and greet prior to adopting if needed! She has been sweet and gentle with the children she has met. Toasty really does not have a shy bone in her body. She loves all the attention she can get! After everything she’s been through, Toasty is truly one of a kind — and she’s ready to find her forever home! If you feel that your home may be a good fit for Toasty, we would love for you to meet her!
