Some of my preferences and habits haven’t been fully explored yet, but that just means there’s more to discover together! What we’re still learning: 🐕 How I feel about other dogs 🚶 My leash skills 🏠 Whether I’m potty trained 👶 How I do with kids and new people What this means for you: I haven’t had full introductions with other dogs yet Slow, gentle interactions help me feel comfortable Staff are happy to help answer questions and guide meet-and-greets Thank you for being patient with me! With time, routine, and love, my true personality will shine ✨ Come meet me at High Country Humane, located at 11665 N. Highway 89, Flagstaff, AZ 86004. Our shelter is open Thursday–Tuesday, 11 am–5 pm, and closed on Wednesdays. Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped (we register it for free!). Each adoption also includes a free health exam. Please bring a leash and collar with you or plan to purchase them here. We can’t wait to help you meet your new furry friend!

Adopt Aurora! ✨ This gorgeous husky girl is about 4 years old and weighs 32lbs. She is SO sweet and full of love. Aurora is friendly with other dogs and even cats, already knows how to 'sit,' and lives for playtime, zoomies, and hitting the trails. She is an avid hiker who would happily join you for fresh air and fun.🥾🌲 Aurora can be a little anxious when left alone, so she would do best in a home with another dog to keep her company and show her the ropes. 🐶 She has not been around kids yet. Come visit Aurora at High Country Humane: 📍 11665 N. Highway 89, Flagstaff, AZ 🕚 Open Thursday–Tuesday, 11 am–5 pm
