** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE HOLD ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, just walk right in. TJ aka Harley is 3 yrs old and CURRENTLY weighs about 38 lbs-BUT is overweight. He loves women, but does have some issues with alpha men. He would do great with a only female home. He needs someone who has experience with the husky breed. When he first meets dogs he will growl at them, and if they do not react he is fine. If they react and growl back he will try to escalate. (Dog reactive). He sleeps well in his crate at night, and is housebroken in his home. He loves his early morning walks. More will be known about me soon. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Center, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. If you are interested in TJ aka Harley, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org . This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle TJ aka Harley into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours, Monday-Friday. This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply). Adoption fee applies. Please make sure you have read the information listed on the homepage for requirements and restrictions. Foster homes & volunteers are always needed. Story
Ichi came to my home on August 13 2024 from a shelter. She is approximately 6 years old. She is a wonderful dog that will give love to anyone. She enjoys walks but does not beg. She is great on leash, and potties only outside. Her favorite time is spending her time at the dog park. She is really good with other dogs, although she may be vocal she is playing and have not done any harm to any dogs. She has slight separation anxiety, so the best fit for her is someone that has at least one person in the house with her. She is very calm and patient and smart. She is great around strangers and have helped me through my hardest times. Some traits I am looking for her new home is a home with at least one person at home, doesn't mind taking to the dog park, and is willing to provide total loving care to her.

Story
I was gifted Eris when living in MS back in 2016 from a coworker who had to relocate quickly and could not bring her with. Unfortunately we don’t know her exact age for this reason but we guess around 10 years. She has lived in three states and handled each move with grace. She is great with other animals, at one point she lived with a cat and 5 dogs. She became very maternal towards my MIL’s pomchi when living together. Eris is very vocal (likes to let u know when she needs food or water). When she gets silly she barks and will flail her whole body around trying to get you with her paws. She is super cuddly and loves to lay/sleep with humans. She knows how to use puppy pads and is okay with dog diapers although she doesn’t love them (even the fun ones with skirts). Her hair unfortunately tends to get matted when growing due to previous owner shaving her hair off, but it is easy to maintain with frequent cuts and brushing (we usuallly trim at home but she loves the salon too).

Story
We brought this Husky home from a shelter and have been helping him adjust to our family. He’s an incredibly affectionate and loving dog, very protective of his home, and always alert when strangers approach to keep the house safe. He’s also wonderful with children and enjoys being around people. After we brought him home, our senior dog’s health began to decline rapidly. Because of that, we decided to help him find a new family who can give him the time, attention, and care he needs. Ideally, his new home would be one where he can receive plenty of love and focus from his owner. We truly hope to find someone who will love him as much as we do and give him a warm, happy home he deserves. (All the vaccines are up to date)
